# A complete guide: Home page

## Overview

**Home** is the first page you see when you open Blockify. It shows whether Blockify is running on your storefront, how much of the Free plan allowance you have used, a summary of what Blockify has caught, and shortcuts to settings and support.

## Status card

The status card near the top of Home has one row per item. Each row shows its state and the button to change it.

| Row | What it shows | Button |
| ---- |
| **Enable app embed on theme** | Whether the Blockify app embed is on in your live theme | **Activate app embed** / **Deactivate app embed** |
| **Blockify app status** | Whether Blockify is turned on for your store | **Activate Blockify** / **Deactivate Blockify** |
| **Quota usage** (Free plan only) | How many unique visitors have been recorded against your Free allowance, as a bar and `used/limit` | **View details** opens **Pricing** |

Both the app embed and the app status must be on for rules, VPN and bot protection, content protection and visitor analytics to work. See [Activate Blockify and the app embed](https://help.omegatheme.com/en/article/activate-blockify-and-the-app-embed-1fpxtye/) for the steps.

## Free plan limits on Home

The Free plan includes 2 active rules and visitor logs for the first 200 unique visitors. The allowance does not reset. Home warns you before you reach either limit.

### Visitor allowance banner

This banner appears under the **Quota usage** row.

* At 80%: **You've used {{pct}}% of your free visitor allowance**, with the button **See plans**.
* At 100%: **Free visitor allowance used**. New visitors are no longer recorded in **Analytics**. The button is **Upgrade plan**.

| Important: Blocking keeps working after the allowance is used. Only visitor logging stops.

### Active rule banner

This banner appears at the top of Home and on **Block & Re-director**. It shows your count as `{{used}}/{{limit}} active rules` and a **Manage rules** button.

* **1 active rule slot left**: activating one more rule uses up your Free plan allowance.
* **Active rule limit reached**: to activate another rule, turn off an existing one or upgrade.

## Overview card

The **Overview** card summarises what Blockify has caught. Use the date picker at the top right of the card to change the period. Nothing is switched on or off from this card; its links take you to the page where you change things.

* **Tracked by Blockify**
  * **Total fraud visitors detected**. **View full analytics** opens **Analytics** on the **Visitors** tab.
  * **Total fraud order detected**. **View full analytics** opens **Analytics** on the **Orders** tab.
* **Your protection** (right-hand card): the settings that matter for the situation you picked when you set up Blockify, shown under "Best for: <your situation>", up to five rows, for example **Spy extensions blocker**, **Protect content**, **Deactivate right click**, **Proxy and VPN blocker** and **Tor blocker**. Each row has an **On** or **Off** badge; click a row to open that setting. **View settings** opens **Settings**.
* If you skipped the setup steps, the right-hand card is **Block bot & content protection** instead, with an **On** or **Off** badge for **Proxy and VPN**, **Tor**, **Protect content**, **Deactivate right click** and **Deactivate inspect**, and the same **View settings** link.

## Search settings

**Search settings** finds a setting by name and takes you straight to it.

Step 1: On **Home**, click **Search settings** at the top right, or press **Ctrl + Shift + F**.

Step 2: Type a word, for example "VPN" or "template".

Step 3: Click a result. Blockify opens that page and scrolls to the setting.

## Get help from Home

* **Visitor Dashboard** (top right of Home) opens **Analytics**.
* Three cards at the bottom of Home:

## Who can use this feature?

Available on all plans. The **Quota usage** row and the limit banners appear on the **Free** plan only.

## FAQs

1. **Why don't I see the Quota usage row?**

The row only appears on the Free plan. On a paid plan, your visitor usage is shown on the **Pricing** page.

2. **I used my Free visitor allowance. Is my store still protected?**

Yes. Your rules and protections keep running. Only new visitors stop being recorded in **Analytics**.

3. **Why does Your protection show Off for a setting?**

The badge reflects your current setting. Click the row (or **View settings**) and turn the protection on in **Settings**. Some protections need a paid plan.

4. **Search settings did not find what I typed. What can I do?**

Try a shorter word from the setting name, such as "bot" or "country". If the setting is not in the list, open it from the left navigation.
