# 💳Add a new Hide Payment methods rule

# Overview

The Hide Payment Methods rule feature allows you to control which payment options are visible to customers based on specific criteria, ensuring a tailored and streamlined checkout experience.

Currently, the app supports hidden payment methods using the following criteria:

* Cart Conditions
* Customer Information
* Date and Time
* Customer Address
* Product Information

# Instruction to set up rule

### Step 1: Create a new rule

* From your Shopify admin dashboard, navigate to Blockify checkout.

* On the Rule list, click on **Create rule** button then select Customize payment rule.

### Step 2: Select the rule condition

Choose an option as a validation condition of the rule.

With Customize Payment rule, we available these conditions:

* Cart: Cart subtotal, Cart total, Cart quantity, Cart has discount, Cart weight, Cart has subscription item
* Customer: Email address, Phone number, Customer name, Customer tag, Customer currency, Total spent, Customer is logged in, Collection
* Product Information: Product, Product quantity, Product tag, Product is gift card, Product quantity of collection, Product SKU, Product vendor
* Address: Shipping address line 1, Shipping address line 2, Delivery phone number, Delivery company, PO Box Address, Missing House, Zip code, Country, Market, Province code
* Date of the time: Day of the week, Time of the day, Day of the week and time of the day.
* Market: Shopify Market

### Step 3: Choose the type and select the payment methods

* Choose "Hide Payment Methods" as the type.

* Then, select the general payment methods and specify the ones you want to hide from your checkout.
