# 🛒 Add Cash on Delivery fee

# How to set it up?

1. **Set up COD shipping method on Shopify Admin**

2. **Set up COD payment method on Shopify Admin**

Please read this [step-by-step guide article](https://help.omegatheme.com/en/article/how-to-set-up-cod-payment-method-uxmoto/) on setting up the COD payment method for details.

3. **Open app Blockify: Checkout Rules,** create a new **"Add Cash on Delivery fee"** rule

4. **Enter the shipping method keyword**

Enter the shipping method keyword that you created on the previous steps

**Example:**

* *Cash on Delivery*
    
* *COD*
    
* *Cash on Delivery (COD)*

5. **Connect with a payment method**

* Select the payment you want to connect with the shipping rate that includes the shipping keyword above
    
* There are 2 options that we pre-defined: Cash on Delivery (COD) and Bank Deposit. If you have another name for another payment method, select **Equals to** enter the name into it.

6. Hit **Save** the rule

### How to test the rule?

1. Go to your storefront and simulate a purchase.
    
2. At checkout, select **COD Shipping** (shipping rates that include the keywords you enter in the rule) and ensure that the payment method is automatically set to **Cash on Delivery**.
    
3. Verify that the COD fee is applied correctly.
