# Block Third-Party Elements Until Consent

The **Block Third-Party Elements** feature prevents unauthorized cookie collection by blocking third-party services (such as Google Maps, Facebook Like, or other embedded elements) until visitors give explicit consent for non-essential cookies.
This ensures that no non-essential data is shared with third parties before the user has made their choice, supporting both privacy standards and user trust.

## **Key Capabilities**
* **Block non-essential third-party elements**
Automatically blocks external services that set cookies before user consent.
* **Enable/Disable Feature**
Merchants can toggle the feature on or off depending on their compliance requirements.
* **Trigger to Reopen Cookie Banner**
Allow users to easily reopen the cookie banner after making a decision.
* **Customizable Trigger Text**
Update the trigger’s label to better match your website’s style and tone (e.g., *Manage Cookies*, *Privacy Settings*).

## **How to Configure**
* **Access Settings**
Go to **App Admin → Settings → Behavior → Block Third-Party Elements**.
* **Enable Blocking**
Toggle **Block third-party elements until consent** to activate the feature.
* **Set Up Trigger **
* **Enable/Disable Trigger**: Decide if you want to show a clickable trigger that allows visitors to reopen the cookie banner.
* **Edit Trigger Text**: Customize the text (e.g., *Change Cookie Settings*) to align with your site’s communication style.
* **Save Settings**
Once changes are saved, third-party elements will only load after the user accepts non-essential cookies.

* After consent → These elements will automatically load and function normally.
* If the trigger is enabled → Visitors can click the trigger to reopen the banner and update their preferences at any time.
