# Consentik Wix: Scheduled Consent Logs Export

# Get your consent logs emailed automatically every month

Scheduled export sends you a copy of your consent records every month, without you having to remember to export them.

Turn it on once. On the **1st of every month**, Consentik builds a spreadsheet of the consent records collected during the month that just ended and emails you a secure download link.

If you already use the **Export** button on the Consent Log page, this is the same file — delivered automatically instead of on request.

## Which plans include scheduled export

Scheduled export is available on the **Advanced** plans.

On other plans you will still see the feature on the Consent Log page, with an option to upgrade.

Manual export is not affected — the **Export** button remains available on every plan that includes consent logs.

## How to turn on scheduled export

1. In your Consentik admin, open **Consent Log**.
2. At the top of the page, find the **Scheduled export** row.
3. Click **Manage**.
4. Turn on **Email me consent logs every month**.
5. *(Optional)* Change the recipient, and add anyone you want to CC.
6. Click **Save**.

The row now shows the date of your next export and the address it will go to. That is your confirmation — there is nothing else to set up.

To turn it off, open **Manage** again, switch the toggle off, and save. Your recipient and CC list are kept, so turning it back on later does not mean entering them again.

## Choosing who receives the report

### Primary recipient

The **Send download link to** field controls where the report goes.

Leave it empty and we use your store email. Fill it in to send the report somewhere else — a shared compliance inbox, for example.

### CC recipients

Add up to **10 more addresses** in the **CC** field, separated by commas:

```
legal@yourstore.com, dpo@yourstore.com
```

Everyone on the list receives the same email with the same link, at the same time. People you CC **do not need a Consentik login** or access to your Wix admin.

You can change these addresses at any time. Changes apply to the next report — earlier reports are not re-sent.

> **Before you add someone to CC**
> The download link works for anyone who has it, which is what lets your colleagues open the report without an account. The file contains customer consent records including IP addresses, so only CC people who should see that data.

## What's in the report

The email contains a **download link**, not an attachment. Click it to download an `.xlsx` spreadsheet with one row per consent record:

| Column | What it shows |
| ---- |
| Customer | The customer's ID, or "Guest customer" if they were not logged in |
| Given Consent | Which cookie categories they consented to |
| Date Created | When consent was given |
| Type | Accepted, Declined, or Accepted partial |

Records you have deleted from the Consent Log page are not included.

### The download link expires after 7 days

Download the file and store it somewhere permanent. The link is a delivery mechanism, not an archive.

After 7 days the link stops working. You can always produce the same data again with the **Export** button on the Consent Log page.

## Which dates each report covers

Each report covers one full calendar month — the one that just ended. A report arriving on 1 March covers 1–28 February.

Month boundaries follow **your store's timezone**, which is shown in the settings window.

This matters if you are in a different timezone from your store. The consent log table on screen shows times in *your browser's* timezone, so a record right at midnight on the 1st can appear in one place and not the other. The report always follows the store.

## Frequently asked questions

### I turned it on mid-month. When is my first report?

On the 1st of next month, covering the month that is running now.

You will not receive anything for months that already ended. Use the **Export** button for those.

### Nothing was collected last month. Will I still get an email?

Yes. The file will contain only the column headers, and the email says so.

This is deliberate — it confirms the system is working, rather than leaving you wondering whether something broke.

### I did not receive the email

1. Check your spam folder.
2. Open **Manage** on the Scheduled export row and confirm the address shown is the one you are watching.
3. If it is still missing, contact support and tell us which month you expected.

### My download link no longer works

Links expire 7 days after the report is sent. Use the **Export** button on the Consent Log page to produce the same data for the same dates.

### Can I receive reports weekly, or for a custom date range?

Not through scheduled export — it is monthly only.

For any other range, use the **Export** button on the Consent Log page.

### Can I resend last month's report?

Not from the app. Use the **Export** button to produce the same data for the same dates.

### The numbers in the file don't match the Consent Log table

Most often this is the timezone difference explained in [__Which dates each report covers__](https://help.omegatheme.com/en/article/consentik-scheduled-consent-logs-export-2tgril/?bust=1789372107928#which-dates-each-report-covers).

If the gap is larger than a few records at the start or end of the month, contact support and tell us which month and what you expected.

### Does turning it off delete my settings?

No. Your recipient and CC list are kept, so switching it back on does not mean entering them again.

**Still need help?** Contact our support team and include your store URL and the month in question.
