# Do not accept discounted items

## Overview 

In Synctrack Returns, merchant can set up an **advanced return policy** to optimize the return workflow. The **“Do not accept discounted items”** feature allows the system to whether returned items were purchased with discounts or promotions. If so, return and exchange options are disabled for those items.

## How to enable Reserve stock on request for exchange?
### Go to Settings > Policies
* Tick checkbox "Do not accept discounted items" 
* Click "Save"

The two rules don't stack — this one removes discounted items from what can be returned at all, so there's nothing left for the other rule to recalculate.
