# How to Add & Sync a New Language

Before importing or editing translations, ensure your target language is enabled and published in Shopify. If it's not listed yet, follow these 3 simple steps:
# Step 1: Add & Publish the Language in Shopify
1. In **Omega Feed**, open the language dropdown in the Translations section and click **Add new language**.

2. You will be redirected to your Shopify admin. Click **Add language**, select your target language, and confirm.

3. The language will appear under Unpublished languages. Click **Publish** immediately to make it active on your store.

||| Translations will not be visible to customers until the language is published.
# Step 2: Auto-Translate Content

1. Next to your newly published language, click **Translate** and select T**ranslate & Adapt.**

2. Inside the app, click **Auto-translate**. Shopify will handle the rest in the background.

# Step 3: Sync to Omega Feed
1. Return to **Omega Feed > Translations**.

2. The language is now ready in the dropdown to sync with your marketing channels

3. Click the **Fetch Translations** to pull the translated data into the app.

4. Your localized product feed is now ready to sync to GMC, Facebook Catalog, etc.

Hura 🎉Your translation is complete.
