# How to have date picker in another language?

| Displaying delivery dates and scheduling options in customers’ preferred languages builds trust, reduces cart abandonment, and enhances overall satisfaction.


# Scenario 1:  Display Date Picker in Your Main Language (e.g., German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, etc.)

**Step 1:** Go to **Widget settings > Design > Text fields** 

**Step 2:** Choose the language you want to translate from English into, then click **Auto translate**.


|| The language you select here will become your main (default) date picker language.

# Scenario 2: You want to display date picker on multiple languages

| ideal for stores serving multiple markets.


###### **Step 1:** Go to **Translation > Add language**

###### **Step 2. Add language translation you want, we will auto translate the date picker content into this language**

###### **Step 3. Publish the translation**

* DingDoong detects which language to display for the date picker based on the **Shopify language locale.**
* You must have the desired language enabled in your Shopify store languages.

* When a customer chooses Chinese in your storefront, the date picker will automatically display in Chinese
