# How to test whether your Reddit Pixel installation is set up correctly

Not sure if your Reddit events are actually reaching Reddit? Use the **Event Testing** feature in Reddit Ads Manager together with TagFly's **Test Server-side events** to see what's working and identify any issues with your tracking setup.

### Setting Up Event Testing
* In the Reddit Ads Manager, go to **Events Manager → Event Testing**

* Copy your **Test ID**. It looks like `t2_xxxxxxxxx` — copy the full value, not just the `t2_` prefix

* In TagFly, open the **Reddit** destination → **Settings**, turn the **Test Server-side events** toggle on, and paste the copied value into the **Test ID** field

Please note that for the Test ID to work, you must make sure the **Conversion API Token** is configured correctly. Without a valid token, no server-side event can be sent for testing.
* Click **Next step** to save your settings

# View Logged Events
**#Checklist**
✅ You've done all the required setup steps in TagFly app (Reddit Pixel ID + Conversion API Token)
✅ You've removed all pre-existing Reddit scripts outside TagFly
✅ The test feature is turned on and the Test ID is filled correctly
✅ Third-party cookies are enabled in your browser — Event Testing won't work without them

When you're all set, browse your storefront and manually trigger events (view a product, add to cart, start checkout, place a test order). Each event should appear in the **Event Testing** table in Reddit Ads Manager.

Select a row to see the details — event name, match keys, metadata and conversion ID — and check that they match what you expect.

**Good to know:**
* Events may take up to **5 seconds** to appear in the interface
* Test events are rate-limited to **10 events per second**
* The table shows up to **100 events**, after which it stops updating. Select **Clear** to reset it
* Don't close the Event Testing tab or your store tab while testing — closing either one means you'll have to start over

||| **Important:** Remember to turn **Test Server-side events** off in TagFly after testing, so your live events are properly recorded. Test events are not used for reporting or ad optimization.

### Still not seeing events?
* Double-check the Reddit Pixel ID and Conversion API Token are copied in full, with no extra spaces
* Make sure the events you're testing are enabled in the **Events** tab of the Reddit destination in TagFly
* Confirm your store domain is listed in the Events Manager
* Turn the test toggle off and on again after changing the Test ID
