# Omega TikTok Pixel - Live TikTok event testing

**“I can’t see what events my Pixel is sending in real time.”,** 
**“I can’t tell if my Purchase event is actually working.”**

If you constantly have to guess whether something's going wrong or not, you can’t fix issues before they hurt your ROAS. **Here comes our Real-time TikTok event testing feature.** 

# **1. What is Live Event Testing?**

Live Event Testing helps you **check whether your TikTok Pixel & Conversion API are sending events correctly - in real time**.
Right after you connect a Pixel with a ${color}[#0062ff](**Conversion API token**), you can immediately:
* See every event firing live
* Verify if the setup is correct
* Debug missing or incorrect values
* Compare expected vs actual event parameters
|| This feature is built directly inside the Omega app so you never switch platforms.

# **2. When should you use it?**
Use Live Event Testing when:
* You just added a new TikTok Pixel (but with Conversion API) 
* You changed themes or updated your storefront
* You installed a new app that may interfere with Pixel
* Your ads aren’t spending → TikTok may not receive enough events
* Purchases are missing or being counted incorrectly
* You want to validate events before launching Smart Campaigns
This ensures your TikTok account gathers enough clean signals for optimization.

# **3. How to Access Live Event Testing**

You can easily access the feature by clicking into the CTA in **Pixel** page\*\*:\*\*

Or after you add a new pixel as follows: 

###### Step 1 — Add a Pixel with Conversion API token
Once you add a new pixel that includes a **Conversion API token**, Omega is ready to activate real-time testing.

###### Step 2 — Modal appears
You will see a confirmation message:
> 🎉 \*\*Congratulations! \*\*
> Your Pixel has been added successfully.
> Do you want to test real-time events now?
Click **“Yes, test now”** to start.
### **Step 3 — You are taken to the “Live event testing” tab**
* Your newly-added Pixel is automatically selected
* Event monitoring starts immediately after users take action on your storefront
* No setup required
