# Post-Purchase Upsell: How to Show One-Click Offers After Checkout

## Overview
Post-Purchase Upsell shows the customer one offer after they pay, on the post-purchase page, before the Thank You page. If they accept, the product is added to the order they just placed and they only pay the price difference. There's no second checkout and no re-entering card details.
Available on all plans (early access, free).
## When to use it
Offer a product that goes with what the customer just bought. For example, a screen protector after a phone case. A discount of around 10–20% usually works well. Use conditions if you only want the offer to show on certain orders.
## Set Blockify as your post-purchase app
The offer won't appear until Blockify is set as your post-purchase app.
**Step 1:** In Shopify admin, go to **Settings → Checkout**.
**Step 2:** Scroll to **Post-purchase page** and select **Blockify Checkout**.

## Create an offer
**Step 3:** Open **Blockify Checkout** and click **Post-Purchase Upsell** in the left menu.
**Step 4:** Click **Create offer**.

**Step 5:** Set **Status** to **Active** and enter a **Name** (internal only, customers don't see it).
**Step 6:** Under **Product**, search and select the product to offer.
**Step 7:** Choose a **Discount type** (**Percentage** or **Fixed amount**) and enter the value. Leave empty for full price.
**Step 8:** Set the **Condition**. Keep **Always** to show on every eligible order, or click **+ Add condition** to target by products, order value, customer tag, or country.
**Step 9:** Under **Page content**, edit the **Product & price** and **Accept / Decline** text if needed.

## Notes
> **Note:** The post-purchase page only appears for orders paid by **credit card**. It does not appear for COD, wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay), PayPal, or gift cards. This is a Shopify limitation, not an app setting.
> **Note:** Shopify allows one post-purchase app per store. If another app is set, switch it to Blockify Checkout in **Settings → Checkout**.
## FAQ
**Q: My offer isn't showing after checkout. Why?** A: Check that Blockify is set as your post-purchase app (**Settings → Checkout**), the offer **Status** is **Active**, and the order was paid by credit card.
**Q: Does the customer pay or enter their card again?** A: No. The product is added to the same order and only the price difference is charged to the card on file.
**Q: Can I show more than one offer per order?** A: One offer shows per order. You can create multiple offers with different conditions, and the matching one is shown.
