# Set Quantity Limit with Checkout Validation

# Overview
The **Set Quantity Limit** feature helps you control the maximum or minimum number of items a customer can purchase in a single order. By setting limits, you can:
* Prevent bulk buying of limited products.
* Restrict discounted product quantities per checkout.
* Ensure fair distribution during sales campaigns (e.g., BFCM).
This feature works through **Checkout Validation Rules** in Blockify Checkout.

# How to Set Up Quantity Limit
### Step 1: Navigate to Checkout Validation
1. Open the **Blockify Checkout** app in your Shopify Admin **→ **Go to **Checkout Rules → Checkout Validation**.
2. Click **Create Rules**.

### Step 2: Add a Quantity Condition
1. Select **Conditions** and search for "Cart Quantity" 
2. Choose your trigger:
    * **Greater than (>)** → Restrict if cart exceeds a quantity.
    * **Less than (<)** → Restrict if cart is below a quantity.
    * Equal to  → Allow only exact quantity.
3. Enter the number (e.g., 5).

**Example:**
* `Cart Quantity > 5` → Prevents checkout if customers buy more than 5 items.
### Step 3: Define the Action (Validation Message)
1. Scroll to **Actio**n
2. Enter the message that will show at checkout if the condition is met.
* Example: *“You can only purchase up to 5 items per order.”*

### Step 4: Save & Test the Rule
* Click **Save Rule**.
* Test your setup by adding items to your cart and proceeding to checkout.
* If limits are exceeded, the validation message will appear, and checkout will be blocked.
