# Set up a Custom Banner (for Shopify Plus only)

A **Custom Banner** allows you to display important messages, promotions, or warnings during checkout. You can use it to notify customers about special offers, shipping details, or order requirements.

### Steps to Set Up a Custom Banner

1. Open the **Blockify: Checkout Rules & COD** app and navigate to the **Checkout Component** tab.
2. Click **Create Component** and select **Custom Banner**.

3. Set a name for internal reference.
4. Choose when the banner should be displayed:
* **Always:** The banner is shown without conditions.
* **Specific Condition:** Display the banner only when certain conditions are met (e.g., cart value, shipping method, customer tags).

5. Click **Save Condition**, then select **Go to Checkout Editor** to customize the banner’s appearance.

6. Add the **Custom Banner** block, then style and customize the text as needed.
