# Setup multi-channel feeds

# Multi-channel selling feeds with one dashboard

Omega Feed sends the Shopify products feed to **multi sales channels** from one app. Each channel gets its own feed, so you can tune titles, markets and product selection per channel without touching your Shopify data.

|| Supported channels: **Google Shopping**, **Facebook & Instagram**, **TikTok Shop**, **Microsoft**, **Pinterest**, **Klaviyo** and **OpenAI (ChatGPT)**.

| Channel | Where your products appear | How Omega syncs |
| ---- | ---- | ---- |
| **Google Shopping** | Google Search, Shopping tab, YouTube and Performance Max ads via Google Merchant Center | Direct API connection or XML file |
| **Facebook & Instagram** | Facebook and Instagram Shops, catalog ads via your Meta catalog | Direct API connection or XML file |
| **TikTok Shop** | TikTok catalog and shopping ads | XML file (API coming soon) |
| **Microsoft** | Bing Shopping and Microsoft Advertising via Microsoft Merchant Center | XML file |
| **Pinterest** | Pinterest catalog, Product Pins and shopping ads | XML file |
| **Klaviyo** | Product blocks and recommendations in Klaviyo emails | XML file |
| **OpenAI (ChatGPT)** | ChatGPT search results and ChatGPT Ads | CSV file |

This article covers:

1. **Pick a channel**.
2. **Choose how to sync** — direct API connection or a data file (XML, or CSV for OpenAI).
3. **Set up the feed** and save it.
4. **Add more feeds** — for another channel, another market, or another product group.

## Pick a channel

You can open a channel from the left menu: **Google Shopping**, **Facebook & Instagram**, **TikTok Shop**, or **More channels** for OpenAI (ChatGPT), Microsoft, Pinterest and Klaviyo.

## Choose how to sync

When you create a feed, Omega asks you to **Choose how to sync your product feed**.

* **Direct channel connection (API)** — best for Google and Facebook. You log in to your channel account once and Omega pushes products straight into it. You see each product's approval status inside Omega, fix issues without leaving the app, and can keep price and stock updated in real time.
* **Export a data file (XML)** — best for channels without an API connection, or when you prefer to manage the upload yourself. Omega generates a feed file with a public URL; you paste that URL into the channel's dashboard and the channel fetches it on its own schedule. Errors are shown on the channel's side, not in Omega. For OpenAI this option reads **Export a data file (CSV)**, because OpenAI doesn't read XML.

|| For TikTok, Microsoft, Pinterest, Klaviyo and OpenAI (ChatGPT) the API option shows **Coming soon**, so the data file option is selected for you.

| Your situation | Choose |
| ---- | ---- |
| You sell on Google Merchant Center or a Facebook catalog | Direct channel connection (API) |
| You sell on TikTok, Microsoft, Pinterest or Klaviyo | Export a data file (XML) — the only option for now |
| You sell on ChatGPT | Export a data file (CSV) — the only option for now |
| You want to submit the file to a channel manually, or share it with an agency | Export a data file (XML) |

## Connect your account (API only)

After you pick **Direct channel connection (API)** and click **Continue**, a Google or Facebook login opens in a new tab. Sign in with the account that owns your Merchant Center or catalog and grant access. Once you see **Account connected**, Omega takes you straight to the new feed.

| If the login tab doesn't open, check that your browser isn't blocking pop-ups for Shopify admin, then click **Continue** again.

## Set up the feed and save

The **Create feed** page opens on **Configuration**. The settings are the same for every channel:

1. **Google account** / **Facebook account** (API) or **Feed details** (XML) — where the feed goes, and its name.
2. **Target market** — the country, currency and language this feed is built for.
3. **Product source** — which Shopify products this feed includes.
4. **Schedule auto-sync** — how often the feed refreshes from Shopify.
5. **Product attributes mapping** — which Shopify data fills each channel attribute.

Click **Next** to open **Review & Test** and see how real products will look on the channel. When you're happy, click **Save** in the bar at the top of the page.

* **API feeds** start syncing to your channel as soon as you save.
* **XML and CSV feeds** generate a file. When it is ready, the channel's page shows it in the **Feed URL** column; click **Copy URL** and paste it into your channel's dashboard. Until then the column reads _Generating feed URL..._.

## Add more feeds

You aren't limited to one feed per channel. Common reasons to add another:

* **Another channel** — reach shoppers on Facebook and TikTok with the products you already send to Google.
* **Another market** — one feed per country, each with its own currency and language, for example a US feed in USD and a French feed in EUR.
* **Another product group** — separate feeds for different collections, so each ad campaign only promotes what it should.

To start from an existing feed instead of from scratch, open the channel's page, click the **⋯** button on a feed's row and choose **Duplicate**. The copy opens as a new feed named _Copy of ""_ with all its settings; change what you need and save.

|| How many channels and feeds you can use depends on your plan. On **Free** and **Basic** you can use **1** channel; **Scale** and **Advanced** include unlimited channels. Feeds: **1** on Free, **3** on Basic, unlimited on Scale and Advanced.

When you reach a limit, clicking a new channel or **Create new feed** takes you to **Pricing** instead of creating the feed. Nothing you already have is changed.

## Troubleshooting

### Clicking a new channel takes me to the Pricing page

Your plan's channel or feed limit is reached. Check the **Your current plan** card on the Homepage: it shows how many channels and feeds you use against your limit. Upgrade, or delete a feed you no longer need to free a slot. Deleting the last feed of a channel also frees that channel.

### Duplicate is greyed out

You have used every feed your plan allows, or the feed you want to copy is paused. Free a slot or upgrade, then try again.

### I can't pick the API option for TikTok, Microsoft, Pinterest, Klaviyo or OpenAI

Direct connection is only available for Google and Facebook today, so these channels show **Coming soon**. Use **Export a data file (XML)**, or **Export a data file (CSV)** for OpenAI, and submit the feed URL in the channel's dashboard.

### My feed file has no URL yet

The file is built right after you save. While it is being built, the **Feed URL** column shows _Generating feed URL..._. Large catalogs take longer; refresh the channel's page after a few minutes.

### I connected my account but the feed wasn't created

Connecting only links your account. If you already had feeds on that channel, Omega keeps you on the channel's page; click **Create new feed** to add one.

### Can I send one feed to two channels?

No. Each channel expects its own attributes and format, so every feed has one destination. Create a separate feed for each channel from its own page.
