# [Wix] Import product info to Omega TikTok Shop

### Import product info from a CSV or Excel file

Before a product can go live on TikTok Shop, it needs a package size, a weight and a TikTok Shop category. Instead of editing products one by one, you can fill in this information for many products at once by uploading a file.

## 1. What you can import

## 2. Prepare your file
The easiest way is to start from our template:
1. Go to **Sync products** and click **Import product info**.
2. In the **Start from a template** box, click **Download template**.

3. Open the file. Every product in your store is already listed, with weight and brand copied from Wix Stores. Below is a sample file:

4. Fill in the empty columns: `packageLength`, `packageWidth`, `packageHeight`, `tiktokCategory` and `barcode`.
5. Keep the `handleId` column as it is. That's how we know which product each row belongs to.

You can also use your own file, as long as it has a column that identifies each product: handleId, SKU, product name or Wix product ID.
**File requirements**
* Format: **.csv** or **.xlsx**
* Up to **10 MB** and **5,000 rows** per file. For larger catalogs, split the file and upload each part.

## 3. Import your file (detailed guidelines)
Go to **Sync products** and click **Import product info**. The import has 4 steps.
### Step 1: Upload file
Drag your file into the window, or click **Choose file**. To use a different file, click **Replace**.
Click **Next**.
### Step 2: Match columns

**Match rows to products by -** choose how we find the product for each row:
| Option | When to use it |
| ---- | ---- |
| **handleId** *(default)* | Recommended. Every Wix product has its own handleId. |
| **SKU** | Only if every product in your store has a unique SKU. |
| **Product name** | Only if no two products share the same name. |
| **Product ID** | If your file uses Wix product IDs. |
**Match columns -** for each TikTok Shop field, choose which column in your file to use. We pre-select columns by their name, so check the **First row** column to make sure the values look right.
* The 4 package fields (length, width, height, weight) are required.
* Set any field you don't want to import to **Don't import**.
* Variants use the package size of their parent product.

Click **Next**.
### Step 3: Review
At the top, you'll see how many:
* **products will be updated**
* **rows match no product**
* **rows have an error**
**If a product already has a value**, choose what happens:
* **Only fill empty fields** *(default) -* keeps anything you've already set in the app.
* **Replace with the file** - the file wins for every matched field. Products already submitted to TikTok Shop are synced again.

**Preview** shows the first 10 rows of your file and what will happen to each one:
| Result | Meaning |
| ---- | ---- |
| **Will update** | The row is valid and will be imported. If some fields are already set and you chose *Only fill empty fields*, you'll see which ones are kept. |
| **Not matched** | No product in your store matches this row. |
| **Error** | The row has a problem. The reason is shown under it. |
Click **Update {n} products** to import.

### Step 4: Done
You'll see how many products were updated and how many rows were skipped. Click **Done** to close the window. You can download skipped rows to see the reasons why:

## 4. After the import
* A green banner at the top of **Sync products** shows how many products were updated and how many rows were skipped.

* All dimension data, brand, barcode are imported.
* If a category needs extra product attributes, fill them in afterwards with bulk edit in **Sync products page.** 

## 5. Fix skipped rows
Click **Download {n} skipped rows** (in the Review step, the Done step, or the banner on Sync products). You'll get a file with every row that wasn't imported, and the reason in its own column. Fix those rows in the file and upload it again.
| Reason | How to fix it |
| ---- | ---- |
| "…" isn't a TikTok Shop category | Use the category name exactly as TikTok Shop lists it. |
| Package size can't be 0 | Fill in length, width, height and weight with values above 0. |
| No product with handleId … | Check the handleId matches the product in Wix Stores. |
| More than one product matches | Two products share the same SKU or name. Match by handleId instead. |
| Duplicate row for this product | The product appears more than once in your file. Only the last row is used. |

## 6. If your file can't be uploaded
| Message | What to do |
| ---- | ---- |
| Only .csv and .xlsx files are supported. | Save your file as .csv or .xlsx. |
| This file is over 10 MB. | Split it into smaller files and upload them one by one. |
| This file has more than 5,000 rows. | Split it into smaller files and upload them one by one. |
| This file has no product rows. | Add your products below the header row. |
| We couldn't read this file. | Make sure the file opens normally and isn't password-protected. |

## 7. FAQ
* **Will importing change my products in Wix Stores?** No. Import only updates the information sent to TikTok Shop. Your Wix Stores products stay as they are.
* **Can I create new products with the import?** No. The import only updates products that already exist in your store. Rows that don't match a product are skipped.
* **What if I close the window before finishing?** Nothing is saved. Products are only updated when you click **Update {n} products** in the Review step.
* **I have more than one TikTok Shop account. Which one is updated?** The account selected on the Sync products page when you opened the import.
* **Can I import product attributes too?** Not yet. Fill in category-specific attributes with bulk edit in **Sync products** after the import as TikTok Shop requires different attributes for each category and we auto detect those attributes for you.
