# [Wix Platform] Loading effect of Blocking page

The overlay effect determines how visitors and bots interact with your store during the blocking process. We’ve provided two customizable options to suit your business needs:

> Note: To ensure this feature works correctly, please follow the setup instructions shown in the image. The overlay logic will only run after you complete those steps and enable the setting.

### Option 1: Turn On Overlay Effect
With this setting enabled:

* **Visitor Interaction**: Visitors cannot interact with any elements on your store while the blocking page is active.
* **Crawler Bot Restriction**: Certain bots, including crawler bots, are blocked from scanning the store’s content, enhancing privacy and preventing unauthorized scraping.
**Best for:**
* Protecting sensitive content.
* Preventing unwanted bot activity.

### **Option 2: Turn Off Overlay Effect**
With this setting disabled:

* **Visitor Interaction**: Visitors can interact with elements like buttons, and all store content is fully loaded in the background.
* **Crawler Bot Access**: Crawler bots can scan your store’s information to collect data, enabling SEO indexing and other automated functions.

* Allowing users to view and interact with store content during the blocking process.
