1. How to create a simple automation rule?
In this application, each automation rule has 2 parts. One is the trigger. You could have one event as the trigger, for example:

"Order is created"
"Product is Ordered"
"New customer"

For each event, you can set multiple conditions for that event, for example:

When the order is created, if the total price of the order is over 1000 and the customer has "VIP" tags.
When the product is ordered, if the quantity of all product variants is less than 2.

Note: If there are many conditions in an event that is triggered, the conditions must satisfy the operators (A && B) || (C && D).

The second part is action. You could have one or multiple actions, for example,

Send an email to the customer with the order information.
Send an email to the customer with order information AND Add 'VIP' tags to that customer.

Note: If there is more than one action, all of them will be performed when all conditions of the event are a match.

Here is the general step to create the automation rule in the examples above,

1. Create Trigger.

Step 1: Move to the "**New Workflow**" tab on the admin page of the application.



Step 2: Please select an existing application template or select a blank template to begin creating a workflow.



Step 3: Enter the title of the automation rule and select the event to trigger.


Step 4: Define the condition for the trigger.
If you select "All orders" then this automation rule will always be triggered if there is an "Order is Created" event.
If you select "Filter with Conditions", set conditions for automation rules when there is an event.



You can click the "AND" button to add conditions to the AND operator.



You can click the "OR" button to add conditions to the OR operator.


You can click on the icon remove icon to remove a condition.
The delay time for the comparison of conditions can be set as shown below



Step 5: Check the created conditions.
You can click the "Test Trigger" button to check the conditions just created in step 3.



Choose any order as a demo, click the "Test" button and wait for the results to return.



If the condition does not match the order data, the automation rule is not triggered


If the condition matches the order data, the automation rule is triggered


2. Create Actions
Step 1: Define the actions, choose an action type.
If you select "All orders" then the application automatically moves to step select action type.


If you select "Filter by conditions" then click the "Add new action" button to start creating actions for automation rules.


Choose the type of action you want the automation rule to perform

Step 2: Action Settings.
At this step, fill in the information needed for the action to be performed.
For example, If you want to send an email, please enter "Email to, From, Title Email and Body Email"




Lastly, let's book a calendar for the action. You can choose to execute an action immediately or execute it after a specified time.




Step 3: Test Action.
You can check how the action works at this step.
Click the "Test Action" button to start

Step 4: Save Automation rule.

Click the "Add Action" button to add an action for the automation rule.
Click the "Save" button to save the automation rule.


2. How to manage automation rules?
Move to the "List Workflows" tab on the admin page of the application.


Click button edit button to edit the selected automation rule.


Click button copy button to copy the selected automation rule.


Click button remove button to remove the selected automation rule.


You can change the status of the automation rule from "enable" to "disable" and from "disable" to "enable".



Click on the "Jobs done" column to view the details of each action.


3. How to set up an email account?
Step 1: Move to the "Settings" tab. Click "Add New Account" to create an account.


Step 2: Choose an account type.


Step 3: Enter your email account information.



Step 4: Click the "Next" button to send a test email. If the test email is sent successfully. Please save your account.



Note: You can add multiple email accounts to perform the workflow

Here you can also configure to receive monthly usage notifications


NOTE: Tracks the number of tasks performed monthly and the number of tasks of each action type in the "Dashboard" tab.

Gmail configuration.

Go to https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps and sign in with your account.
If you see the box like this screenshot, if not go to step 4


Turn on "Access to the app is less secure"
Go to https://myaccount.google.com and sign in with your Gmail account
Choose Security in the left menu, make sure to turn on 2-step Verification, then choose App passwords


In "Select app" choose "Other (custom name)"
Input your app's name, then click the "Generate" button
Then, a popup with your app's password, copy this password


Back to our app's admin, go to the "Email Template" tab, paste your app's password to the Password field

Zoho mail configuration
The users need to generate and use application-specific passwords when accessing the email account via POP/ IMAP or Active Sync if Two Factor Authentication is enabled for the account.

Login to http://www.zoho.com/mail as a user
Click the My Account link at the top to view Zoho Accounts.
From the left menu, select Security >> App passwords.
Under the Application Specific Passwords, click on Generate New Password.

Enter the application name associated with this specific password. The app name is just a reference name, for you to verify/ revoke in the future.
Select Generate to view the application-specific password.'
The device-specific password will be displayed only once and will not be displayed again.
Back to our app's admin, go to the "Email Template" tab, paste your app's password to the Password field.

Yahoo mail configuration:
You'll need to generate and use an app password. An app password is a long, randomly generated code that gives a non-Yahoo app permission to access your Yahoo account. You’ll only need to provide this code once to sign in to your third-party email app.

Sign in and go to your Account security page
Click Generate app password or Manage app passwords.
Select your app from the drop-down menu and click Generate.
Follow the instructions below the password.
Click Done.
Go to the "Email Template" tab, paste your app's password to the Password field.

Amazon SES mail configuration:
STEP 1: CREATE SMTP CREDENTIALS
To send emails through the Amazon SES SMTP interface, begin by creating SMTP credentials - a user name and a password - as shown below:

Log in to the AWS Management Console.
Click the “SES Email Sending Service” option.


In the left navigation bar, click the “SMTP Settings” option.
Click the “Create My SMTP Credentials” button.


Copy your credentials or click the “Download Credentials” button as the password will not be shown again.

STEP 2: REQUEST REMOVAL OF AMAZON SES RESTRICTIONS
Add and verify your email address following these steps:

Log into the Amazon SES Console.
Click the “Verify a New Email Address” link.
In the “Verify a New Email Address” dialog, enter the email address you wish to send messages from and click the “Verify This Email Address” button.



You should now receive a verification message from Amazon SES asking you to confirm that you are the owner of the email address. Click the verification link in the message.
Check the status of the email address in the Amazon SES Console. The status of the email address should change from “pending verification” to “verified”.
STEP 3: REQUEST REMOVAL OF AMAZON SES RESTRICTIONS
To remove these restrictions on recipient addresses and increase the sending limits, request a higher level of access in the Amazon Support Center.

STEP 4: CONFIGURE YOUR APPLICATION TO USE AMAZON SES
Input Username and password which the correct values from the credentials created in Step 1, while the EMAIL_ADDRESS placeholder should be replaced with any SES-verified email address to the Email template tab.
