How to enable theme app extension for Online Store 2.0 Compatibility
Once you can connect your developer app to the Omega Facebook events app successfully, please go to your Online store >> Customize
Then follow the guide on the tutorial video below to add the app extension to your product page.
How to set up Facebook Events Pages
After you set up list events, and want to add Events Page:
Firstly, go to the app > Connect tab > Facebook Pages, click to text Facebook events to get link with [Your Shopify URL]/apps/ot-facebook-events
For example: https://facebook-events-demo.myshopify.com/apps/ot-facebook-events
Copy that link, go to Online store > Navigation > Menu
Choose Main menu > Add menu items
Input page name (for example Events) and paste the link into field. Then click Add to save
Click Save Menu then you can check your Events page on your store front.

Why should you make it done as soon as possible?
- Enabling App Embeds allows Omega to stay fully compatible with OS 2.0 & reduce the burden on your end. You don't need to manually add any scripts to the theme for the app to work, also no code removal is needed upon uninstall.
- After switching, our app will load faster in a notifiable way.
- With this, you can be assured the app stops functioning at the moment you uninstall it.
