⚙️ Automated Rules

Automated Rules is the Add Rule in Mapping Fields feature that allows you to create flexible and automated mapping conditions between your product data and the destination feed fields (such as Google Merchant Center fields). These rules help ensure better categorization, campaign structuring, and ad optimization.

✅ Step-by-Step: Add a Custom Rule

  1. Go to Mapping Fields

Navigate to the “Mapping Fields” tab for your selected channel (GMC, MMC, Facebook, or XML).

  1. Choose the Field You Want to Map

Select a target field (e.g., Custom label 0, Product type, Title, etc.).

  1. Click "+ Add Custom Rule"

This opens the Rule Builder where you can define your own logic.

Field

Select a Shopify field (e.g., product.tags, product.title, variant.sku, etc.)

Operator

Choose from: Contains, Equals, Starts With, Ends With, etc.

Value

Enter the target value to compare against

  1. Set the Rule Condition

Choose:

    • Source field: e.g., Product Title
    • Operator: e.g., Contains
    • Value: e.g., Hawaii
  1. Set the Output Value

This is the value that will be assigned to the target field when the condition is met.

→ Example: Output value = Hawaii

  1. Save the Rule

Once done, the system will apply this rule every time the feed is synced.
