Block checkout based on conditions

How to use:

Step 1: Turn on the Blockify checkout rule. Please review this guideline to learn how to enable it. If you've already enabled it, you can skip this step.

Step 2: Go to Block Checkout tab >> Click "Create rule".

Step 3:** **Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)

Step 4: Choose theo "Select condition" (Provides multiple options including "Email", "Phone number", "Name", "Country", "Address", and "Zipcode").

Step 5: Enter the information to be blocked into the input fields >> Click button "Save" to create rule

Due to Shopify's regulations, third parties are not allowed to intervene in abandoned checkouts, so this feature cannot block abandoned checkouts.

Once set up correctly, orders that meet the configured conditions will not be created. Instead, the checkout page will display a warning: "Order cannot be placed due to suspected fraud."

Note: Checkout Validation Limit Notification

We have added a notification to help you monitor checkout validation usage and prevent rules from stopping due to Shopify's validation limit.

Status indicators:

🟢 Green — Usage is within a safe range. All rules work normally and you can continue creating new rules.

🟡 Amber — Approaching the limit. Review or remove unused rules to avoid impacting checkout validation.

🔴 Red — Shopify’s limit has been reached. You can no longer create new rules, and checkout validation will stop working on the storefront.

When the Shopify limit is exceeded, the app’s rules will no longer run on the checkout page. The app provides early warnings so you can manage your rules proactively and keep checkout functioning properly.
