Cookie Banner on Customer Account Page
The Cookie Banner on Customer Account Page feature allows merchants to display a consent banner directly within their customer account section. This ensures that users can manage their cookie preferences even after logging in, providing greater transparency and flexibility in consent management.
Key Capabilities
- Display Cookie Banner
Enable or disable the cookie banner within the customer account page.
- Customizable Buttons
Choose which action buttons (e.g., Accept All, Reject All, Manage Preferences) are displayed on the banner.
- Quick Category Selector
Provide users with a simplified way to accept or reject specific cookie categories quickly (e.g., Analytics, Marketing, Preferences).
- Persistent Banner Option
Enable the setting “Keep displaying cookie banner when visitors have already given consent before”.
This ensures the banner remains visible if you want to let users review or change their consent at any time.
How to Configure
- Navigate to Settings
Go to App Admin → Settings → Account Page.
- Enable the Feature
Toggle on Active banner.
- Configure Options
- Select which buttons should appear on the banner.
- Enable or disable the quick category selector.
- Decide whether the banner should keep displaying even after consent has been given.
- Save Changes
Once configured, your settings will be applied.
Adding the Banner to Customer Account Page
After completing the configuration in Settings:
- Open your store’s Custom Account Editor.
- Navigate to Consentik Customer Account Banner block.
- Insert the block into your desired location on the account page.
- Save and publish changes.
Result
Once set up, the cookie banner will appear on the customer account page according to your configurations. Visitors can easily review and manage their consent preferences directly from their account, ensuring transparency and compliance with privacy requirements.
