The Customer Account Feature allows you to set permissions for your customers, enabling them to effortlessly manage their quotes, accept or reject proposals, export quotes, and review details—all in one place.

Enable Customer Account


The Customer Account feature is introduced through Shopify’s New Customer Account Extension UI. This feature allows merchants to create blocks and pages within the Customer Account section.


💡 To enable this feature in your store, you must activate it in your theme. We provide a quick redirect option—simply click the "Setting New Customer Account" button to enable it instantly.


Enable Customer Account


The O: B2B Wholesale Quote & Hide app includes two sections:


  1. Quote List Profile – This section allows you to add a block to the profile page. You can configure it within the profile page, and clicking "View Quote" will redirect users to the Quote List page.
  2. Quote List – Unlike the Quote List Profile, this section lets you add a menu item in the header for easy access.

Initially, you can set the Permission status and the Title

You can configure permissions for your customers to interact with their quotes. In this version, all permissions available on the screen above are enabled.


  1. Action Permissions: Determines actions available to customers on their account page.
  2. Quote Customer Information: Defines which quote details customer can view on their account page.
  3. Quote Product Information: Defines which quote details products can view on their account page.

Translation


Customize language and text labels shown to customers


To change it, simply edit the text in the input field and Each of the sections below can be expanded by clicking the dropdown arrow (▾). These allow you to customize translations for specific categories.


  1. Page Translations: Edit the Page title
  2. Quote Status Translations: Modify the labels for various statuses like "New Created", "Read", "Deal closed", etc.
  3. Quote Log Translations: Edit the labels like "Draft Order Created", "Email Sent", etc.
  4. Action Translations: Update the text for actions such as “View quote”, “Quote request”, “Export PDF”, etc.
  5. Product Quote Translations: Change the labels related to quoted products, such as “Item”, “Product information”, “Price”, etc.
  6. Quote Payment Translations: Customize the language for payment-related terms in quotes (e.g., “Payment Information”, “Subtotal”).
  7. Customer Information Translations" Edit how customer fields are labeled, like “Company”, “Billing Address”, etc.
  8. Others Translations: Use this section to translate any additional labels, such as "Not Found", "Quote", etc.
