Get Instagram Collaboration Posts and Show UGC on Storefront
Overview
Get Collaboration Posts allows you to sync Instagram collaboration (Collab) posts to your storefront via Omega InstaFeed. These are posts where your brand is tagged as a collaborator, even if the post was published from another Instagram account.
With this feature, you can:
- Display influencer or partner content on your storefront
- Build stronger social proof using authentic collaborations
- Reduce manual work of requesting content or re-uploading media
What Is a Collaboration Post?

A collaboration post is an Instagram post that:
- Is created by another Instagram account
- Includes your Instagram account as a collaborator
- Appears on your Instagram profile under collab posts
Omega InstaFeed can fetch these posts and add them to your Media Library automatically.
Prerequisites
Before using this feature, make sure:
- Your Instagram account is connected to Omega InstaFeed
- You have accepted the collaboration post on Instagram
- The post is public (not private or restricted)
How Collaboration Posts Are Synced?
Sync Behavior
- Collaboration posts are fetched automatically during the media sync process
- They are added to your Media Library alongside your own posts
- Each collaboration post is marked for easy identification
Where to Find Collaboration Posts
- Go to **Omega InstaFeed → Media Library → Import media **(either From Instagram or
- Browse or search your media
- Collaboration posts will appear together with regular posts
You can:
- Select them like normal posts
- Add them to widgets
- Use them in multiple widgets at the same time

Using Collaboration Posts in Widgets
Once synced, collaboration posts behave like normal media:
- Can be added to existing widgets
- Can be included when creating new widgets
- Follow the same layout and styling rules
This allows you to showcase influencer content directly on your storefront without extra setup. Please go to Widgets manager page to create widget as usual.

- Mix brand posts and collaboration posts in one feed
Limitations & Notes
- Private or restricted posts cannot be synced
- If a collaboration is removed on Instagram, the post may stop updating
- Content availability depends on Instagram API permissions
Troubleshooting
Collaboration post not showing up?
- Make sure the collaboration is accepted on Instagram
- Run a manual sync
- Check that the post is public
