How to add a user to Google Analytics 4

You can add users at either the Analytics account level or the property level. The level at which a user is added determines their initial access. For instance, adding a user at the account level grants them access to all properties within that account, with the same permissions. In contrast, adding a user at the property level limits their access to only that specific property, based on the permissions you assign. You can update a user’s access level and permissions at any time.

To grant access to your Google Analytics 4 account, please follow the outlined steps below:

Step 1: At the bottom left of your screen, click the gear icon (Admin)

Step 2: To grant access to the account management level, click on "Account access management" on the left menu, click + icon at the top-right of your screen and select "*Add users"**

Alternativelye, if you would like to grant access at the property level, you can select "Property access management"

Step 3: On the next page, enter the email address ([email protected]), select the roles you want to assign and click "Add" to send us an invite
