Overview

The General Settings tab is the main control center for the Blockify app. This is where you manage the most fundamental settings, from activating or deactivating the entire application to changing the admin language, configuring email notifications, and managing your secure admin access URL.

This should be the first page you visit to configure the app's core behavior or to make global changes.

Features within General Settings

Based on the image, the sections in General Settings include:

a. Activate Blockify

• Function: This is the master switch. It allows you to turn the entire Blockify application on or off with a single click.
• How to use:
• • On: All protection layers and blocking rules you have configured will be active on your store.
  • Off: All Blockify features will be temporarily disabled. This is useful if you need to troubleshoot an issue on your store and want to rule out any interference from the app.

b. Admin language

• Function: Allows you to change the display language for the Blockify admin interface.
• How to use: Click the dropdown menu and select your preferred language (e.g., English). This change only affects your experience within the app and has no impact on your customers.

c. Notifications

• Function

Keeps you informed about suspicious activities by sending automated reports and instant alerts related to fraud orders.

• How to use:
• Daily fraud filter report:

Check the box “Receive daily emails about fraud orders, including medium-risk and high-risk orders.”

When enabled, the system automatically sends a daily summary email listing orders flagged with medium or high fraud risk.

• Timezone & Send at (NEW)

These settings allow you to control when daily reports are delivered based on your selected timezone.Timezone: Select the timezone used to schedule email delivery.

Send at: Select the time you want to receive the daily report.

Emails are sent according to the selected timezone.

Example:

Timezone: UTC+07:00; Send at: 08:00

→ The daily report email will be sent at 8:00 AM (UTC+7) every day.

Default behavior

If no configuration is set:

• Timezone defaults to UTC+00:00
• Send time defaults to 12:00 PM (UTC+0)

• Email address

Enter the email address(es) where notifications should be sent.

• Multiple email addresses are supported.
• Separate email addresses using commas (,).
• Maximum 5 email addresses allowed.

• Fraud Filter Alerts (NEW)

This feature provides instant fraud notifications.

Availability

• Available only for Paid plans (Enterprise plan or higher)
• Requires the Fraud Filter feature to be enabled
• Behavior: When Fraud Filter alerts is enabled: An email notification is sent immediately whenever an order is detected and flagged by Fraud Filter (medium-risk or high-risk). This alert works independently from the daily report.

d. Admin's access URL

• Function: This is a critical security feature. This URL is a "safe" or "backdoor" link exclusively for you to access your store. Using this link guarantees that you will never be blocked by any of Blockify's rules, even if your own IP address is accidentally flagged.
• Important Warning: The text "Please don't disclose the link" is a crucial instruction. This URL is a secret key to bypass your store's defenses. Sharing it could create a security vulnerability.
• Action Icons:
• • Show/Hide Icon (eye with a slash): Click to reveal or hide the full URL.
  • Copy Icon: Click to instantly copy the URL to your clipboard. It is highly recommended to save this link in a secure location, like a password manager.
  • Regenerate Icon (circular arrows): Click to generate a completely new access URL. Use this function immediately if you suspect your old URL has been compromised or accidentally shared.
