⚙️ Mapping Rules
Mapping Rules
Mapping Rules allow you to create flexible, conditional logic between your Shopify product data and target channel attributes (such as Google, Facebook,...). These rules help you automate product categorization, structure ad campaigns, and optimize feed data without changing your store's original data.
🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Step 1: Getting Started
- Open your feed setup configuration and navigate to the Mapping rules tab.
- Click
+Add your first rules(if creating a rule for the first time)

- Or
Create ruleif you already have existing rules.

Step 2 — Configure Rule Logic
- Basic Information
Rule name: Enter a clear name for your rule (up to 50 characters) so you can easily recognize it in your list.

- WHEN Section — Input Condition
Set up the triggering criteria for your rule:
Select field: Choose the channel attribute or Shopify product field you want to evaluate (e.g., Product title, Product type).

Comparison operator: Select a matching condition (Contains, Equals, Starts with, Ends with, Greater than, Less than, or Any in).

Enter value: Input the keyword or value to compare against.

+Add condition: Add extra criteria to refine your rule using conditional logic:
- AND: All listed conditions must be met for the rule to apply.
- OR: At least one of the listed conditions must be met.

- THEN Section — Output Action
Choose how the feed field should be updated when the condition in the WHEN section is met:
Option A — Use value from another Shopify field: Maps dynamic values directly from a Shopify field.
- Send to: Select the target channel attribute receiving the value.
- Use: Select the Shopify field to pull the value from

Option B — Use a custom value: Assigns a static custom text or value to the target attribute.
- Send to: Select the target channel attribute receiving the value.
- Use: Enter the custom text/value you want to assign manually.

- Rule Status & Saving
Status Toggle:
- Active: Enables the rule immediately for feed syncing.
- Draft: Saves the configuration without applying it to the feed.

📋 Managing Active Rules
Once saved, all your rules appear in a summary list under the Mapping rules tab:
- Rule Overview: Displays the rule name alongside its conditional logic summary (e.g., When Product title contains "Unisex" → Set Gender to Unisex).
- Status Toggle: Quickly switch rules between Active and Draft directly from the list view.
- Action Buttons: Click Edit to modify rule conditions or Delete to permanently remove a rule.
