0. Summary: How to choose the right plan for your store

• Free: good for testing TagFly, or for very low-volume stores (up to about 10 orders/month) that need a single tracking destination.
• Basic: fits growing stores that need up to 3 destinations, transaction and product filtering, and channel-level reporting. On monthly billing, extra orders cost $0.05 each, so a busy month doesn’t interrupt tracking (up to your spending limit).
• Grow: best for stores that need unlimited destinations, multiple pixels, multi-market tracking, and full analytics, including Pixel Health and Customer Analytics.
• Scale: everything in Grow, built for high-volume stores. It includes 10,000 orders/month, the lowest usage rate ($0.02/order), free custom setup, and our highest priority support.

Tips

• If you regularly go over ~700 orders/month on Basic, Grow is usually more cost-effective.
• Above ~4,375 orders/month, Scale is usually more cost-effective than Grow.
• If your order volume is steady, yearly billing saves 20% with no usage charges.

1. Overview

TagFly offers 4 plans: Free, Basic, Grow, and Scale.

• Paid plans can be billed monthly or yearly, and yearly billing saves 20%. Every paid plan comes with a 7-day free trial.
• Each plan includes a monthly order allowance, counted as purchase events. One purchase event is roughly one completed order.

How your order allowance works

Monthly billing (Basic, Grow, Scale)

• Orders beyond your allowance are billed per order at your plan’s rate, up to your approved spending limit.
• If your usage charges reach the spending limit, tracking pauses.
• Tracking resumes immediately when you raise your spending limit. Otherwise, it resumes when your next Shopify billing cycle begins and your quota resets.

Yearly billing (Basic, Grow, Scale)

• There are no usage charges.
• Each month you get extra Grace Orders free of charge, equal to 10% of your plan’s allowance.
• Grace Orders don’t roll over to the next month.
• Once your allowance and Grace Orders are used up, tracking pauses until the next month.

Free plan

• After 10 orders, new events stop being forwarded until your next cycle or until you upgrade.

2. What's included in each plan

2.1. Integration

• Core server-side tracking, consent management, and the no-code GTM container are available on every plan, including Free.

• Upgrading mainly raises how many destinations and pixels you can run at once

2.2. Tracking settings

• Basic and higher plans unlock filtering, so you can exclude specific transactions or products from tracking. They also add more ways to identify products and calculate order value.

• Grow and Scale add Metafield and Custom ID (template) support for stores with non-standard catalog IDs, plus custom order value formulas.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens if I exceed my purchase event limit?

• Free: new events stop being forwarded until your next cycle or until you upgrade.
• Basic, Grow, Scale (monthly billing): each extra order is billed at your plan’s rate ($0.05 / $0.04 / $0.02), up to your approved spending limit. When charges reach the limit, tracking pauses until you raise the limit or your next Shopify billing cycle begins.
• Basic, Grow, Scale (yearly billing): there are no usage charges. You get 10% extra Grace Orders each month (50 / 250 / 1,000). Once those are used, tracking pauses until the next month.

2. Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?

Yes. You can switch billing frequency from Pricing at any time; the yearly rate applies from your next billing cycle.

3. What is the App Spending Limit, and why do I need to approve one?

On monthly billing, paid plans include usage-based charges for extra orders. Because of that, Shopify requires you to approve an App Spending Limit: a cap on how much TagFly can charge you in usage fees per billing cycle.

• The default limit is $25 on Basic and $200 on Grow and Scale.
• You will never be charged more than your spending limit.
• When your usage charges reach the limit, tracking pauses.
• Raise your limit and tracking resumes right away. Otherwise, it resumes automatically when your next Shopify billing cycle begins.

Yearly plans have no usage charges, so no spending limit applies.

4. Can I change my App Spending Limit?

Yes. You can raise or lower it anytime from Settings > Plan & Billing. Shopify will also prompt you to approve a new limit automatically if you're about to exceed your current one.

5. What are Grace Orders?

Grace Orders are extra orders included free each month on yearly plans. They equal 10% of your plan’s allowance and give you a buffer for busy periods without usage charges.
Unused Grace Orders don’t roll over to the next month. If you regularly use up all your Grace Orders, consider moving to a higher plan.

6. How to change my pricing plan

1.In the TagFly app, go to Pricing.
2.Choose Monthly or Yearly billing.
3.Click Select this plan on the plan you want.
4.Approve the charge on the Shopify confirmation screen.
If you have a discount code, apply it on the Pricing page using “Have a discount code? Apply it here!” before you select a plan.
