Visitor Profile

The Visitor Profile feature in Blockify Records & Replay is a powerful feature designed to give you deep insights into each individual visitor’s behavior and interaction with your Shopify store. Unlike traditional analytics that provide aggregated data, Visitor Profile allows you to drill down into the specifics of each customer’s journey, helping you understand their preferences, engagement levels, and purchasing patterns.

Whether you want to identify high-value customers, troubleshoot issues, or tailor your promotions, the Visitor Profile section equips you with the necessary data to act effectively. In this guide, we will walk you through how to access visitor lists, view detailed customer information, manage session recordings, and update visitor details to keep your data accurate and actionable.

A. Accessing the Visitor List


From the Blockify app main menu, clicks Visitor
You will see a list of visitors with the following columns:
Visitors: Visitor name or ID.
Sessions: Number of sessions the visitor has had.
Location: Visitor’s geographic location.
Total Cart: Total products added to cart by the visitor.
Last Seen On: The last time the visitor accessed your store.
Search or Filter:
Use the search bar to enter a visitor’s name or ID.
Use filters (if available) to narrow down by location, session count, or last seen date.
View Details:
Click on a visitor’s name or ID to open their detailed profile page.


B. Viewing and Managing Visitor Details


On the visitor’s detail page, you will find the following sections:
Quick Overview
Total Cart: Total number of products the visitor has added to their cart.
Total Events: Total number of interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and page navigations.
Total Pages Visited: Total pages the visitor has viewed across all sessions.
Session Recordings
A list of all recorded sessions for this visitor, ordered by date.
Play: Click the Play button to watch the session replay.
Delete: Click Delete to remove any unnecessary session recordings.
Visitor Information
Editable fields:
Name: Click to edit the visitor’s name.
Email: Click to edit the visitor’s email address.
Phone Number: Click to edit the visitor’s phone number.
Read-only fields:
Location: Visitor’s current or last known location.
Device: The device type the visitor used (desktop, mobile, tablet).
After editing, click Save to apply changes.
Activity
First Seen: The date and time when the visitor first accessed your store.
Last Seen: The date and time of the visitor’s most recent session.
Engagement: Overall engagement level based on sessions, duration, and events.

Tips for Effective Use
Keep visitor information up to date: Regularly update contact details to maintain accurate records
Review session recordings: Watch visitor sessions to better understand their behavior and improve customer support
Analyze visitor activity: Use the activity data to identify potential loyal customers or high-value prospects
Leverage location and device info: Customize marketing strategies and optimize user experience based on visitor location and device type


Important note
Deleting a session recording is permanent and cannot be undone. Please confirm before deleting
Editing visitor information updates data within the Blockify app only and does not change Shopify’s customer records
Always comply with privacy and data protection policies when handling visitor information.
