Setup tracking

In order to send your transaction data to this destination, we need the following information from your Google Ads account
Note: Google Ads requires 4 to 6 hours to review the conversion events before it can start tracking event data. Therefore, please wait during this time before your ads begin running to ensure that no events are missed in the tracking process.


Step 1: Select your Google Account

  1. Click "Connect" to connect your Google Account

  1. Then Omega Google Ads will automatically identify Google Ads Account related to your Google Account
  • You can click the account name to see account list and change to another account
  • Then click "Continue"

  1. If you don't have a Google Ads account yet, please follow our guidance below:




  • Find Google Ads Account

Open Google Ads. You can find it in these places:




  • Select Google Ads Account

Reload the Select Account page, and choose your Google Ads Account

Step 2: Quick Report

  • Quick Report will first provide you with your store overview, including orders, revenue, and markets after connecting to your Google Ads Account successfully
  • Then you need to decide how to track your orders in privacy-regulated regions (GDPR/CCPA)

Step 3: Customer Events

  • Click to copy the script
  • Or you can click "View Demo" to see the details of each step first

  • Then click "Open Pixel Settings"

  • On Customer Events page, click "Add custom pixel"

  • Fill in your Pixel name, then click "Add pixel"

  • In the Code card, delete the guidance and paste your copied pixel. Then click "Save" button and return to app's Setup Guide

Step 4: Setup Tracking

  • Select conversion events for your campaign goals


  • Then choose your Product Identifier


Subtotal Price: Total product value before order-level discounts, excluding taxes and shipping.
Total Price: Final amount the customer pays.
When selecting Total Price, you can choose whether to include:

  • Shipping – Adds shipping fees to the conversion value.
  • Taxes – Adds tax fees to the conversion value.
  • Discount – Uses the final price after the discount is applied.

👉 Note: If an option is not selected, its fee will be excluded from the conversion value.
Example:

  • Total Price: $100 (includes $10 shipping, $5 tax, and a $15 discount applied)

Step 5: Complete Setup

  • Audit every step to ensure that you set goals for your Google Ads, then tick the checkbox to confirm
