Add a new rule to redirect


Overview


With Blockify's redirect feature, you can effortlessly steer visitors from specific IP addresses or locations to a different website or destination. Whether you want to provide region-specific content or redirect unwanted traffic elsewhere, Blockify empowers you to create a seamless and personalized online experience for your site visitors. Take charge of your visitor's journey and ensure they reach the right destination with ease!


Currently, Blockify supports redirecting access using the following criteria:


  • IP address (support IPv4 and IPv6).
  • IP address starts with.
  • IP address range.
  • Country.
  • State or Province.
  • Product, collection
  • User agent
  • Specific page
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP).
  • Referrer url

The IP addresses and locations are checked using the GeoJS and Proxycheck.io database.


Instruction



  1. Redirect IP address

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect IP Address"

Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)



Step 4: Choose "IP address" as the "Select condition" >> Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)". If the "Select type" is "Manual", enter the IP addresses in the input field. If the "Select type" is "Upload CSV", click "Upload CSV" to import a file (a sample file can be downloaded via the hyperlink). >> Click "Save" to save rule redirect




  1. Redirect IP start with

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect IP Address"


Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)



Step 4: Choose "IP strat with" as the "Select condition" >> Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)". If the "Select type" is "Manual", enter the IP addresses in the input field. If the "Select type" is "Upload CSV", click "Upload CSV" to import a file (a sample file can be downloaded via the hyperlink). >> Click "Save" to save rule redirect




  1. Redirect IP range

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect IP Address"

Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)



Step 4: Choose "IP range" as the "Select condition" >> Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)". If the "Select IP range type" is "CIDR", enter the "Ip start range" in the input field. If the "Select IP range type" is "Range", enter the "Start IP" and "End IP" in the input field >> Click "Save" to save rule redirect






  1. Redirect country

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect location"



Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)



Step 4: Choose "Select condition" is "Country">>Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >>"Select country" and click "Save"



  1. Redirect state or province


Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect location"


Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)



Step 4: Choose "Select condition" is "Province">>Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >>select "Select country" -> select "Select state/province" -> select "Select city (optional)" and click "Save" (Selecting two or more 'State/Province' options disables the 'City' selection)



  1. Redirect product

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect products"


Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button.)





Step 4: Choose "Select condition" is "Specific products">> Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >>select "Select product" >> select "Select country" and click "Save"



  1. Redirect collection


Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect products"




Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)




Step 4: Choose "Select condition" is "Specific collection">> Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >>select "Select collection" >> select "Select country" and click "Save"



  1. Redirect browser


Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect user agent"



Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)



Step 4: Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >> select "Country"-> choose "Type" is "Browser" and select "Select browsers" -> select "Select device" -> Select "Select OS" and click "Save"



  1. Redirect substring

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect user agent"


Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)



Step 4: Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >> Select "Country"-> choose "Type" is "Substring" -> enter into the input field "Substring" -> click "Save"





  1. Redirect specific page

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect specific page"




Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)



Step 4: Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)" >> Select "Select pages"-> select "Select country" -> click "Save"



  1. Redirect internet service provider (ISP)


Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect ISP"



Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)



Step 4: Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)">>Select "Select country"-> select "Select ISP" -> click "Save"



  1. Redirect referrer url

Step 1:  Open the "Blocker & Re-director" tab.

Step 2: Select "Redirect" and click "Redirect referrer url"



Step 3: Selecting status as "Enable" means the rule will be active right after creation, while choosing "Disable" means the rule will not be active. (To set the rule status to Disable, click the Disable button)



Step 4: Fill in the information in the two input fields: "Redirect to" and "Displayed name (optional)">> Select "Select country"-> enter referrer URL into the input "Enter referrer URL" -> enter ref URL name into the input "Ref URL name" -> click "Save"



Note: After clicking the 'Save' button, the rule will be created and stored in the blacklist. Here, you can view, edit, delete, disable, or enable the rule.
