➕ Add new language

Before importing or editing translations, make sure the language you need is already enabled in your Shopify store.

If your target language isn’t listed:


1️⃣ Open the language dropdown in the Translations section.


2️⃣ Click Add new language (as shown below)

You will be redirected to your Shopify admin to add the new language.

3️⃣ Click "Add language" in Shopify admin


Select language you want to translate

4️⃣ Translate language by using Shopify's Translate & Adapt app

If you don't see Shopify's Translate & Adapt app in this list. Please install in here: https://apps.shopify.com/translate-and-adapt


You will be redirected to in-app Shopify's Translate & Adapt app, click Auto-translate

Shopify will handle the translation process in the background and you’ll receive an email when the process is completed.


Localized content done

Translations will not be visible to customers until the language is published.


5️⃣ Publish the Language in Shopify


After receiving the email confirmation that translation is done:


  1. Go to your Shopify Admin > Languages.
  2. Locate the newly added language (e.g., Italian).
  3. Click Publish to make it visible to customers and usable for syncing to Shopping channels (GMC, MMC, Facebook catalog,..) via FeedNexa.

📝 After Translation – Back to FeedNexa


Once the language translation is completed and published in your Shopify Admin:


👉 Go back to FeedNexa > Translations tab


You will now see the newly added language available in the language dropdown.
