Auto-block spam bots is an automated protection layer designed to identify and block malicious bots. These bots typically engage in disruptive behavior, such as attempting to create mass fake user accounts ("spam sign-ups") or initiating fraudulent checkout processes that they never intend to complete ("fake checkouts").

Activating this feature provides several key benefits for your store:

• Protect Customer Data: Prevents your customer and email lists from being flooded with junk accounts, ensuring your data remains clean and accurate
• Prevent Fake Orders: Reduces the number of phantom orders and abandoned carts in your system, saving you administrative time and preventing confusion
• Enhance Security: Safeguards your registration forms and checkout pages from malicious automated activity
• Minimize Spam: Limits the creation of fake accounts that could be used for sending spam or engaging in other fraudulent activities.

How to Activate and Use

You can easily enable or disable this feature with a single click.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

From the app's admin dashboard, go to Settings and select the Mitigator tab.

Step 2: Activate the Feature

Locate the Auto-block spam bots section. You will see a toggle switch on the right-hand side.

• To enable the feature, click the toggle switch to the right until it displays On (in green).
• To disable it, click the toggle switch to the left.

Once enabled, the system will automatically analyze traffic and block visitors that exhibit the behavior of a spam bot.
