Buyer Analytics Dashboard Documentation
- Introduction
The Buyer Analytics Dashboard provides insights into customer acquisition, retention, and value. It helps businesses monitor buyer behavior, analyze performance trends, and optimize marketing strategies.
- Key Metrics
Buyers:
Definition: The total number of unique customers who made at least one purchase.
Formula: ∑Unique Customers.
Example: 7 buyers between Jul 15 – Aug 14, 2025.
Repeat buyers:
Definition: The number of customers who have made more than one purchase.
Formula: ∑Customers with ≥2 purchase.
Example: 5 repeat buyers.
Churn Rate:
Definition: The percentage of customers who stop purchasing after a certain period.
Formula: Customers Lost in Period / Total Customers at Start of Period×100%
Example: 0.00 indicates no churn.
Repeat Buyers Rate:
Definition: The percentage of customers who return to make additional purchases.
Formula: Repeat Customers / Total Customers×100%.
Example: 140.00% means multiple repeat purchases from some customers.
Buyer Retention Rate:
Definition: The percentage of customers who continue buying from the store over time.
Formula: Customers at End of Period−New CustomersCustomers at Start of Period×100%.
Example: 0.00 indicates no retained buyers in this timeframe.
Buyer Lifetime Value (CLV):
Definition: The estimated total revenue a customer will generate throughout their relationship with the business.
Formula: Customer Lifespan × Average Order Value × Purchase Frequency.
Example: 17.00 average CLV.
Buyer Lifetime Value (CLV):
Definition: he average cost spent to acquire a single customer through advertising or marketing.
Formula: Total Advertising Cost / Total Customers Acquired.
Example: 48,521.83 currency units per buyer.
- Charts
Visual charts make it easier to identify buyer trends:
Buyer Lifetime Value (CLV) Trend: Displays CLV changes over the selected period.
Repeat Buyer Rate: Shows how repeat buyer percentages evolve across time.
Total vs Repeat Buyers: Compares the number of new buyers vs repeat buyers in a bar chart.
Cost per Acquisition (CPA) Trend: Shows whether acquisition costs ads are increasing or decreasing over time.
- Filters & Controls
Refresh Button: Updates the dashboard with the latest data.
Metrics Panel (Right Sidebar): The Metrics Panel allows users to customize which metrics and charts are displayed on the dashboard.
