Configure Exchange Resolution
Overview
With Synctrack Returns, shoppers can decide how they wish to exchange instead of refunding which will not only help merchant retain revenue, but also creating oppotunities to gain new revenue ammount from exchange. There are 3 main exchange options, including:
- Exchange for the same product: auto-recognizes the item & offers the customer the same product (variant)
- Exchange for different sizes/colors: shoppers can quickly choose the other size/color of return item displayed on the return portal
- Exchange for the different products: shoppers can search & browse for the another item they want to exchange based on condition all store, specific collection or specific product types.
How to set up Exchange Resolutions?
Step 1: **Go to Settings > Configuration **> Enable Exchange

**Step 2: Enable at least 1 exchange resolution > Save **
There are 4 ways to set up exchange for a different product

- Exchange for specific collection: Select products by collection. When set up, only products belonging to these collections will be displayed outside the return portal. At least one collection must be selected.

- Exchange for specific product type: Similar to collection, but differs in selecting products by product type. At least one product type must be selected.

- Exchange for all store: All products in the store are displayed. This is the default state for all stores.
- Exchange for product recommendation: All products in the store are displayed based on Shopify recommended products. Learn more here,
