📒 Contact Form
Overview
The Contact Form feature in the Omega Chat app is now available on Pro and Premium Plan. This feature allows businesses to collect essential customer information directly from the chat interface. Customers can submit their queries, contact details, and other information through a customizable form, which helps businesses respond efficiently and improve customer service.
Access to Contact Form
Step 1: Access the Widget Tab
Navigate to your Shopify admin panel.
Click on "Apps" and select "Omega Chat" app.
Move to tab " Chat Widget"
Step 2: Select the widget you want to customize, and then click on the "Edit Widget" option.
Step 3: Adding the Contact Form
Navigate to the Contact Form card

Customizing the Contact Form
First, navigating to the Customization section in Widget Edit, once you're in the Form Answer section, you can fully customize the fields, appearance, and behavior of the Contact Form to match your store's needs.
You can enter an email address to receive notifications whenever customers leave information or messages through the Contact Form. Emails are dispatched 2 minutes after a new response is received. Any responses that come in within that 2-minute window will be sent together in a single notification.
Field configuration
The Contact Form comes with predefined fields such as: Name, Email, Phone Number and Message. With each field, you can customize its Title, Input Type and Placeholder.
You can add your own fields for specific customer information. To do this:
Scroll down to the bottom of the card and click the "Add Field" button.
Specify the Input type and Placeholder
Enter the field label and mark whether the field is required or optional.
Form settings
Choose the "Settings" button under the "Add field" button. You can now:
Customize the Hover Text, Contact form Title, Button text and Thank you message.
Choose the color for Background, Icon and Text to meet your store's aesthetic.

Enable the "Redirect visitors" and "Close form automatically" option.
Using the Contact Form
Once you've customized the Contact Form, it will be live and accessible to your customers via the chat widget on your storefront.
Viewing Form Submissions
Form Responses: All responses from the Contact Form will be automatically logged in the Omega Chat app.
Go to the "Form Answer" tab in the Omega Chat app to view all form entries.
You can filter the submissions by date or search for specific customer information.
By setting up and optimizing the Contact Form feature in the Omega Chat app, you can now streamline your customer communication and gather valuable information that helps you serve your customers better.
