Create a Quote from a PDF (Quick Create AI)

Overview

In addition to creating a quote manually (selecting products, customer, etc.), QuoteSnap offers a Quick Create AI feature that lets merchants quickly generate a quote by importing a PDF (or image) file containing quote information. The system automatically reads the file and fills in the quote details, saving time on manual data entry.
Benefits: This feature is useful for merchants who receive quote requests as a file (for example, a customer sends a PDF request, or the merchant already has an existing quote file) and want to quickly convert it into a formal quote in the system without manually re-entering each product, quantity, price, and so on.
Supported File Formats: The system currently accepts the following file formats: .pdf, .jpg, and .png.

Steps

• Go to Submission list (or the quote creation screen) and select Create quote.
• In the top-right corner of the Create quote screen, click the Quick create AI button.

• The "Import file to create a quote" dialog will appear — click Add file.
• Select the quote file you want to import from your computer.
• Once the file has been added, the Create button becomes active. Click Create to let the system process the file and automatically generate the quote based on its content.
• After the quote is created, merchants should review the product, price, and customer information to make sure the data was read correctly from the file before sending or processing it further.
