Add products with custom prices to a quote or create a quote (B2B price and Shopify Catalog)
Overview
When you create a quote in QuoteSnap, you can add products at the price you already agreed with a B2B company, instead of retyping prices every time. QuoteSnap pulls those prices from two places: the company's pricing in the Wholesale B2B Solution app, and the company's native Shopify B2B catalog.
You'll find all product sources in the Products card on the Create quote page (and on an existing quote's detail page):
Source | Where to click | Price the product is added at | Needs a selected customer |
|---|---|---|---|
B2B app pricing | Add B2B price | The company's B2B price from a base pricing in Wholesale B2B Solution | Yes |
Shopify catalog | More actions β Add product from catalog | The catalog price from the company's Shopify B2B catalog | Yes |
Whole store | Add product | Your store's regular list price | No |
Custom item | More actions β Add custom item | A price you type in | No |
This guide covers the first two sources. Every price stays editable on the quote, so the B2B price is a starting point, not a lock.

Before you start
B2B prices are company-specific, so both sources only work once you pick a customer that belongs to a company. Check the requirements for the source you plan to use.
To use Add B2B price (Wholesale B2B Solution)
- Wholesale B2B Solution is installed on your store.
- The customer's company is set up in Wholesale B2B Solution.
- At least one base pricing is attached to that company. Create one in Wholesale B2B Solution under Pricing.
To use Add product from catalog (Shopify)
- At least one Shopify B2B catalog is assigned to the customer's company. Set this up in Shopify admin β Markets β Catalogs.
- The catalog has products published to it. Only products in the catalog appear in the picker.
If a requirement is missing, QuoteSnap tells you in the picker and offers a shortcut to fix it (see FAQ and troubleshooting). You can always fall back to Add product to finish the quote at list price.
Add products at the B2B app price
Use this when you've set up pricing for the company in Wholesale B2B Solution and want the quote to match it.
- In QuoteSnap, go to Submission list and click Create a quote.

- In the Customer card, choose the customer. Their company, contact, and addresses fill in automatically.

- In the Products card, click Add B2B price.

- Pick a base pricing. The list shows every base pricing attached to the company, with its priority (for example, Watson co Agreement Β· Priority 1).

- Tick the products or variants you want. The B2B price column shows the price each one will be added at. Use search or sort to find products quickly.

- Click Add N. The products land on the quote at quantity 1, each marked B2B price under its name.

- Adjust quantities, and prices if needed, in the line table.

To pick from a different base pricing, click β Templates in the picker to go back to the list.
Add products from a Shopify catalog
Use this when the company buys from a Shopify B2B catalog, which is a curated set of your products at catalog prices.
- On Create quote, choose the customer in the Customer card.

- In the Products card, click More actions β Add product from catalog.

- If the company has more than one catalog, choose one. Each catalog shows how many products it holds. With a single catalog, this step is skipped.

- Tick the products or variants you want. The Catalog price column shows the price each one will be added at. Variants that aren't in the catalog don't appear.

- Click Add N. The products land on the quote at quantity 1.

- Adjust quantities, and prices if needed, in the line table.

To switch catalogs, click β Catalogs in the picker.
Mix sources, edit prices, and create the quote
A quote can combine products from any source, but each product variant has only one price on the quote. The last price you pick wins.
How pickers show what's already on the quote
Green "Added" badge (ticked)
A ticked product with a green Added badge was added from the same source you're picking from. Untick it, then click Remove N to take it off the quote.
Example: On a quote for Watson Co, you added B2B Demo T-shirt (Small and Medium) from the Watson co Agreement pricing at $70.00 each. When you open Add B2B price β Watson co Agreement again, both variants are ticked with a green Added badge. Untick them and click Remove 2, and the T-shirt is taken off the quote.

Blue "Added" badge (unticked)
An unticked product with a blue Added badge was added from another source. Tick it to switch the product to this source's price.
Example: The quote for Watson Co has B2B Demo T-shirt β Small from the Watson co Agreement pricing at $70.00 Γ 50. You open More actions β Add product from catalog and choose the Watson Co catalog, where the T-shirt costs $100.00. Small is unticked with a blue Added badge, and its In quote price shows $70.00. If you leave it unticked, the quote keeps $70.00 Γ 50.

Yellow "Override" badge
When you tick a product added from another source, it shows a yellow Override badge. Click Replace N to apply the new price. The quantity stays the same.
Example: In the Watson Co catalog, you tick Small. Its badge changes to Override and the button reads Replace 1. Click it, and B2B Demo T-shirt β Small on the quote changes from $70.00 Γ 50 to $100.00 Γ 50.

The In quote price column shows each product's current price on the quote, or a dash if it isn't added yet. The picker's main button sums up your changes, for example Add 2 Β· Replace 1.
Edit the line table
- Every price and quantity is editable. Changing a price doesn't change the company's pricing in Wholesale B2B Solution or Shopify.
- Products with several variants are grouped under one row. Edit the group's price or quantity to set all variants at once, or expand the row to edit each variant. Mixed means the variants differ.
- Click the X to remove a line or a whole product group.
Finish the quote
- Optionally edit the Message and set a Due date.
- Click Create quote. QuoteSnap opens the new quote and adds it to the Submission list.
Once products are on the quote, the customer can't be changed, because prices are specific to each company. Remove the products first if you picked the wrong customer.
Add products with custom prices to an existing quote
You can add products at the B2B or catalog price to a quote that already exists, such as one a buyer submitted from your storefront. The quote's customer is already set, so you don't need to choose one.
- Go to Submission list and open the quote.
- In the Products card, click Add B2B price, or More actions β Add product from catalog.
- Choose a pricing or catalog, then tick the products you want.

- Add them to the quote. New products land at quantity 1. Products already on the quote follow the badge rules in the section above.
- Adjust Quantity and Quoted Price if needed, then click Save.
Example: On a quote for Watson Co, you open Add B2B price β Watson co Agreement, tick B2B Polo Shirt, and add it. A new line appears: B2B Polo Shirt, $140.00 Γ 1. Change the quantity to 20 and click Save.

Switch requested products to the B2B price
Products the buyer requested from your storefront are already on the quote at the price they saw. In the B2B pricing or catalog picker, these show a blue Added badge. Tick one and replace it to switch it to the B2B price. The buyer's quantity stays the same.
Example: John Watson from Watson Co requested 50 Γ B2B Demo T-shirt β Small from your storefront. Open the quote, click Add B2B price β Watson co Agreement, tick Small, and click Replace 1. The line changes to $70.00 Γ 50.

If Add B2B price and Add product from catalog are greyed out, the quote's customer isn't linked to a company yet.
FAQ and troubleshooting
Add B2B price and Add product from catalog are greyed out.
Choose a customer first. Both sources depend on the customer's company.
"[Company] has no B2B pricing yet"
No base pricing is attached to this company in Wholesale B2B Solution. Click Create pricing to open the B2B app and set it up, or use Add product to quote at list price for now. Learn how in Create and assign base pricing.

"Turn one-time buyers into repeat B2B customers"
Wholesale B2B Solution isn't installed. Click Install B2B app to manage the company with agreed pricing, locations, and buyer roles. You can still create this quote with Add product.

"[Company] has no Shopify catalog yet"
No Shopify B2B catalog is assigned to the company. Click Set up a catalog to go to Shopify Markets, or Add product from Shopify to pick from the whole store.

A product I need isn't in the picker.
Each picker only lists products in that pricing or catalog. Use Add product for anything else, or add the product to the pricing or catalog first.
Which price wins if a product's B2B app price and catalog price differ?
The one you picked last. Tick the product in the other picker and click Replace to switch.
If I edit a price on the quote, does it update my B2B pricing or catalog?
No. Quote edits only affect that quote.
