Create your first feed

This guide helps you create your first product feed and sync products to Meta or Google in just a few minutes.

πŸ“Œ Free plan note

After installing the app, your store starts on the Free plan by default.

Free plan includes:

  • Up to 100 synced products
  • 1 feed
  • Weekly auto-sync

If you want to sync more products, you can:

  • Finish onboarding first, then upgrade later
  • Or simply Skip for now and upgrade anytime from the Pricing page.


Before you start

Make sure you have:

βœ… One connected platform account:

  • Meta β†’ Facebook Business Manager access
  • Google β†’ Google Merchant Center admin access

Step 1. Welcome

When opening Omega Feed for the first time, the onboarding wizard starts automatically:

Welcome β†’ Channel β†’ Feed setup β†’ Review

The Welcome step is automatic β€” just Get Started to the next step.


Step 2. Choose your channel

Select the platform you want to sync products to:

Channel

Purpose

Meta (Facebook + Instagram)

Sync products to Facebook catalogs

Google Shopping

Sync products to Google Merchant Center

Click Connect and complete the login popup.



Step 3. Feed setup

Configure your first feed.

Main settings:

Field

Description

Business account

Select your Business Manager or Merchant Center

Feed name

Your feed display name

Products to sync

All products or selected collections

Variant selection

All variants or first variant only

Google category

Required for Google Shopping

Click Review to continue.


Step 4. Review & create feed

Review your settings before creating the feed.

You’ll see:

  • Connected channel
  • Feed name
  • Product scope
  • Variant settings
  • Sync schedule

πŸ“Œ On the Free plan:

  • Only the first 100 products will sync
  • Auto-sync runs weekly

Click Create feed to start syncing.


Step 5. Feed is live

After creation, Omega Feed immediately starts syncing products.

You can:

  • View syncing progress
  • Preview synced products
  • Open the dashboard for more management options

Typical sync time:

  • Under 100 products β†’ ~2 minute
  • Larger catalogs β†’ a few more minutes

Next steps

After onboarding, you can:
