Export Visitor Data
Export Data
The Export Data feature allows you to export visitor data from Visitors Analytics into an .xlsx file for reporting, analysis, or record-keeping purposes.
With this feature, you can:
- Select specific data fields (columns) to export
- Export data based on the filters currently applied on the Visitors Analytics screen
- Receive the exported file via email
1. How to Export Data
Step 1:
On the Visitors Analytics screen, click the Export button.

Step 2:
The Export Options modal will appear. In this modal, you can:
- Select the columns you want to export (for example: IP address, Country, Risk score, Action status, etc.)
- Enter the email address to receive the exported file:
- By default, the email address is taken from the Shopify admin information: Contact email .You can freely change this email to any other address if needed

Step 3:
Click Export Data to start the export process.
Note: You must select at least one column to export.
If no columns are selected, the system will not allow the export to proceed.

Step 4:
Once the export process is completed, an email containing the export file will be sent to the specified email address.
Open the email and download the file to your device.
2. How Exported Data Works with Filters
The exported data always follows the filters currently applied on the Visitors Analytics screen, including:
- Time range (for example: Last 60 days)
- Risk level
- Any other active filters
Example:
If you apply the following filters:
- Time range: Last 60 days
- Risk level: Dangerous
→ The exported file will contain only the records that match these filter conditions, exactly as shown on the screen.
Note:
While you are actively adjusting or editing filters, the Export button may be hidden.
To export data, click Cancel to exit the filter state — the Export button will then become visible again.

3. Important Notes
- The export file is delivered via email, not downloaded directly from the browser
- Only the selected columns will appear in the exported file
- The exported file format is
.xlsx - If no data matches the applied filters, the exported file will not contain any records
- Field notes: Action status:
On the Allowed Visitors screen:
If an IP address has been added to the blacklist, its status will be Blocked
IP addresses that have not been added to the blacklist will have the status Allowed
On the Blocked Visitors screen:
If an IP address has been added to the whitelist, its status will be Allowed
IP addresses that have not been added to the whitelist will have the status Blocked
