How to Add Contact Methods to Your Shopify Store
This document helps you easily add contact methods to your Shopify store. You can display an email address, phone number, Contact page, or a contact form so your customers can reach you more easily.
🎯 Purpose
Google requires stores to show at least 2 clear contact methods to verify trustworthiness. Examples include:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Contact page
- Contact form
- Social media links
1) Create a Contact Page
- Go to Shopify Admin → Content → Online Store → Add Page.
- Name it Contact or Contact Us.
- Select Template: contact (if your theme provides it).

- Save the page.
If your theme includes a built‑in Contact template, it will automatically display a contact form.
2) Add Contact Information in Theme Settings
- Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes.
- Select your active theme → click Edit theme
- Find Theme Settings (usually at the bottom-left menu).
- Look for a section such as Store / Brand Information.
- Enter at least 2 contact methods, for example:
- Support email
- Phone number
- Contact page link
- Business hours (optional)
- Save your changes.
The location of the Contact section may vary depending on your theme.
3) Display Contact Methods in the Footer
- In the Theme Editor, select the Footer section.
- Check whether your theme already has a block for Contact information.
- If yes → simply fill in your contact details.
- If not → you can add a block such as:
- Text
- Rich text
- Link list
- Custom liquid
Then insert your contact information, for example:
- Email: [[email protected]]()
- Phone: +84 9xxx xxx xxx
- Contact page link

4) Add the Contact Page to Your Footer Menu
- Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Navigation.
- Select the Footer menu.
- Click Add menu item.
- Name it Contact.
- Link → Pages → choose the Contact page you created.
- Save.
