📦 How to Add Inventory Status for Your Products?

The Add Inventory Status feature helps you decide whether your product availability should follow real Shopify stock or always stay “In Stock” when syncing to Google Shopping, Facebook, and other channels.

🧭 What this feature does

Using Bulk assign → Assign inventory tracked, you can:

  • ✔️ Make products follow your real Shopify stock (Tracked)
  • ✔️ Make products always appear In Stock on Google Shopping (Untracked)
  • 🔄 Sync these settings back to Shopify automatically
  • 🌐 Improve your product availability accuracy on ads channels

🛠️ How to add / update inventory status

Step 1: Select products

  1. Go to All Products in FeedNexa
  2. Tick the products you want to update

Step 2: Open the bulk assign menu

Click Bulk assign ➝ Assign inventory tracked

Assign inventory tracked

Step 3: Choose how inventory is handled

You will see two options:

  • 🔘 Tracked → Follow Shopify inventory
  • 🔘 Untracked → Always In Stock

Inventory tracked

Step 4: Apply changes

Click Apply to update all selected products.

FeedNexa will sync the new setting to Shopify.

📊 How each option works

✔️ FeedNexa uses real inventory from Shopify

✔️ Google gets accurate stock status

  • Shopify inventory > 0 → Google: In Stock
  • Shopify inventory = 0 → Google: Out of Stock

Best for:

  • Brands with real inventory
  • Stores avoiding Google “Product availability mismatch” errors

2️⃣ Untracked (Always In Stock)

✔️ FeedNexa ignores Shopify stock

✔️ Product always appears In Stock on Google

Best for:

  • Print-on-demand
  • Made-to-order
  • Dropshipping with infinite supply
  • Stores not tracking inventory
⚠️ Note: Use carefully — Google may disapprove products if the website shows “Out of stock”.
