  • To proceed, please install Shopify Flow by clicking the “Install” button

Step 2: Set up your flow

  • Click button "Turn on workflow to activate".

Available triggers and actions

In Shopify Flow, triggers start a workflow based on an event, and actions define what happens when the conditions are met. The integration of Blockify: Fraud Filter with Shopify Flow provides powerful triggers and conditions, helping you better manage and control the risk score of orders.

Triggers

  1. Risk Analysis Completed

This trigger activates when Blockify completes risk analysis for an order. This trigger can be combined with Shopify Flow conditions, and it can also be paired with a Blockify-specific condition called riskScore.

This trigger is useful for:

  • Automating workflows based on order risk levels.
  • Taking immediate action on high-risk orders.
  • Combining with other Shopify Flow conditions to create customized automation.
  • Integrating with Blockify-specific conditions, such as riskScore, for more precise controlOrder Blocked

  1. Order Blocked

This trigger activates when an order is blocked by Blockify due to high risk or rule violation.

This trigger is useful for:

  • Automatically handling orders flagged as high risk.
  • Blocking orders that violate fraud rules.
  • Notifying the team about suspicious or high-risk orders.
  • Integrating with other Shopify Flow conditions for customized workflows.

  1. Order Flagged for Review

This trigger activates when an order is flagged for manual review by Blockify.

This trigger is useful for:

  • Identifying orders that require manual inspection.
  • Notifying your team to review potentially risky orders.
  • Preventing fraudulent or suspicious orders from being processed automatically.
  • Integrating with other Shopify Flow conditions to create customized workflows.

Example workflows

Here are some powerful workflows you can build by connecting Blockify (your app) with Shopify Flow to automate your store's fraud prevention.

1. Automatically cancel high-risk orders and flag medium-risk orders for review

When Blockify completes a risk analysis for a new order, Shopify Flow can automatically take action. By adding a condition based on the risk score, you can create a workflow that automatically cancels "high-risk orders", adds a manual-review tag to "medium-risk orders", and tags "low-risk orders" as safe for fulfillment.

2. Tag fraudulent customers and send internal alerts

When Blockify automatically blocks and cancels a high-risk order, Shopify Flow can trigger subsequent actions. This workflow can automatically add a "fraud-risk" tag to the customer's profile to prevent future purchases and send an internal email or Slack notification to your fraud team to log the event.

3. Create detailed support tasks for orders needing manual review

Whenever an order is flagged for manual review, Shopify Flow can automatically create a support ticket in a tool like Gorgias or send a detailed email to your team. This allows your staff to have all the necessary information—like the customer's details, order value, and a direct link to the order—to make a quick and informed decision.
