Quote checkout extension

1. Introduction

This feature is only available on Pro Plus Plan

The Quote Checkout Extension allows merchants to add a Request for Quote (RFQ) button directly on the Shopify Checkout page. This gives customers the option to request a quote instead of completing payment at checkout.

2. Quote checkout extension

When the Quote Checkout Extension is enabled:

A Request for Quote button appears on the Checkout page.
Button position and appearance are managed entirely from Shopify settings, not from the app.

Clicking the RFQ button redirects customers to the Quote page.
Product details are pulled from the Checkout page and shown on the Quote page.
Taxes, shipping, and discounts must be configured in the app if you want them to be reflected on the Quote page.

⚠️ Important: This feature works independently from the Quote Button feature.

If customers have items in their cart and click the RFQ button at checkout:

The cart will be cleared
The quote will be created based on the products shown on the Checkout page

Regarding the quote page, the form in the quote page displayed depends on the user’s status: B2B users will see the B2B form, while DTC users will see the DTC form.
