1. Overview
The Analytics feature gives you deep insights into customer interactions on your Shopify store.
It tracks and visualizes key events — from when customers add products to their cart until they complete a purchase — so you can measure campaign performance, identify drop-off points, and make data-driven marketing decisions.
2. Key Metrics Tracked
The Analytics dashboard shows the most important Pixel event data:
Metric | Description |
---|---|
Pixel | Name of the Pixel being tracked. |
Pixel ID | Unique Facebook Pixel identifier. |
ADD TO CART (Clicks) | Number of clicks adding products to cart. |
INITIATE CHECKOUT (Clicks) | Number of clicks starting the checkout process. |
PURCHASE (Clicks) | Number of successful purchases. |
ATC > IC | Conversion rate from Add to Cart to Initiate Checkout. |
IC > PUR | Conversion rate from Initiate Checkout to Purchase. |
Revenue | Total revenue generated |
Currency | The currency of the event has been tracked |
Total events | Total number of recorded events. |
3. Event Activity Visualization
The interactive chart breaks down activity hour by hour, displaying three key event types:
- 🔵 Add To Cart – Products added to the cart.
- 🔴 Initiate Checkout – Customers starting checkout.
- 🟢 Purchase – Completed transactions.
You can hover over data points to view:
- Exact time
- Event counts
- Side-by-side comparison between event types

5. How to Use the Analytics Feature
- Select the desired reporting period (e.g., Jun 17, 2025 – Aug 15, 2025).
- Review the summary metrics in the top table.
- Use the activity chart to track trends over time.
- Export the report for deeper analysis or team sharing.
6. Important Notes
- The data includes both attributed and unattributed events.
- Ensure your Facebook Pixel is properly installed in Shopify and connected to your Facebook account.
- If no data appears, check integration settings and permissions.
