Apply original order discounts to exchange
Overview
In Synctrack Returns, merchant can set up exchange advance rules to optimize the exchange workflow. The “Apply original order discounts to exchange” feature allows the system to apply the original order discount to the replacement item. Customers can exchange for items up to the original item’s pre-discount price. If the replacement item costs more, the customer pays the price difference. If less, a refund is issued based on the price difference.
How to enable Apply original order discounts to exchange?
Go to Settings > Configuration
- Tick checkbox "Apply original order discounts to exchange"
- Click "Save"
How it works?
Assume:
- Product A has the discounted price when purchasing is $640.00
- Product A has original price is $800.00
