Create limit rules

  1. Go to "Limit purchase" from admin menu. Click the "Create limit" button.


  1. Select limit type



We have 3 select types:


  • Order limit: Minimum Order Quantity, Maximum Order Value, Maximum Order Weight, and Limit Orders Per Day
  • Product limit: Min/Max Product Quantity, Qty Must Be Multiple of X, Min/Max Collection Quantity, Block Product Combination, Require Product Dependency
  • Advanced limit: Limit Qty by Customer, Market/Country Limit, Schedule-Based Activation, Customize limit rules



  1. Setup Order Limit Rule
  • This allows you to control how much customers can buy in a single order, helping prevent over- or under-purchasing.


  • Enter the desired minimum and maximum purchase limits, based on either order quantity, order value, or order weight.


  • If no maximum purchase limit is required, leave the field blank or enter "0".


  1. Setup Product Limit Rule
  • This allows you to set the min, max, or multiple number of units a customer can purchase for a specific product or variant in a single order
  • Enter the desired minimum, maximum and multiple purchase limits for the product.
  • If no maximum purchase limit is required, leave the field blank or enter "0".



  • Set the maximum purchase limit equal to the product's available inventory, check the "Set the maximum equal to the inventory" option.





  • Select Products or Product Groups to Apply Limit, choose from 5 options to apply the limit rules:


  • All products: Apply the limit rules to all products in your store
  • Specific collections: Apply the limit rules to the selected collections



  • Group products: Apply the limit rules to products that match specific conditions (e.g., tags, titles, or vendors)


  • Specific products: Apply the limit rules to the selected individual products



  • Specific product variants: Apply the limit rules to the selected product variants



  • Set quantity condition: Define how to calculate limit condition. There are 4 options:


  • Total quantity of all selected products: Add the total quantity of products belonging to the selected collections and compare min/max
  • Total quantity of each selected collections: Add the total quantity of products in each selected collection and compare min/max
  • Total quantity of each selected products: Sum the quantities of each product to compare min/max
  • Total quantity of each selected variants: the quantity of each variant to compare min/max


  1. Apply to markets
  • Allows merchants to set personalized limit rules for each market or country, tailoring restrictions to regional needs.
  • Search and choose the countries/regions where you want the rule to apply.

  • You can set start and end times for limit rules, and the system will automatically follow the schedule, saving management time.
