Exchange for out of stock variant

Overview

In Synctrack Returns, merchant can set up exchange advance rules to optimize the exchange workflow. The “Exchange for out of stock variants” feature allows the system to allow exchanges even when a variant is out of stock so that customers can reserve items.

How to enable Reserve stock on request for exchange?

Go to Settings > Configuration

Tick checkbox "Exchange for out of stock variant"
Click "Save"

How it works?

Assume:

Product A has 0 units in stock.

Feature	System Behavior
Active	Appear on exchange page with "Available" number
Inactive	Disappear on exchange page.

The feature is only available when you enable the Exchange option in your Settings.

Who can use the feature?

Available on Starter plan
