How to override schedule for exception products?
App's scope
DingDoong can help you to override either:
- Prep time & future order restriction
- Specific blackout date
- Specific available date
Note: You only can apply 1 override rule
- The products can be override must belong to Products/ Collection you have chosen in Product avaibility
Example: You have a general rule for same-day delivery, but some products have 1-day prep
- You choose All products for Product avaibility
- Choose specific products or specific collection to override > choose override type (in this case is override prep time)
- As a result, all products will apply as same-day schedule, but only this product only can be scheduled for next-day
Example: You have a general rule for Monday delivery weekly, but for specific products, you don't want to offer delivery on June 2nd (Monday)
- You choose products scheduled for Monday before
- Choose specific products to override > choose override type (Blackout dates)
Example: you have a general rule for Monday to Friday delivery weekly, but coming May 14th (Sunday) is your non-working day, you want to offer specific products for this day
- Choose specific products > override type (Available date)
