How to replace tracking links with your branded tracking page

What this feature does

When enabled, Synctrack replaces the default tracking link on your fulfilled shipments (the one in Shopify's order status page, shipping confirmation emails, and order detail page) with a direct link to your branded tracking page. This keeps customers on your store experience instead of sending them to a carrier site.

How to enable it

  1. Go to Settings → Tracking link set-up
  2. Toggle on Replace tracking link
  3. Synctrack will automatically replace tracking links on all new shipments synced from this point forward.

Turning it off If you disable the feature, new orders will no longer have their tracking links replaced. Previously replaced links remain in place until the app is uninstalled.

When the app is uninstalled Synctrack will remove all replaced tracking links and restore the original links.

Replace links for old shipments

You can also apply the replacement retroactively to shipments synced in the last 30 days. Click Replace links for old shipments and confirm.

Note: this setting will be temporarily disabled for 1 hour after you confirm, while the backfill runs.

Where the new link appears

Once replaced, the branded tracking link shows up everywhere Shopify uses the tracking link:

  • Shopify Order detail page (merchant view)
  • Order status page (customer view)
  • Shipping confirmation emails
  • Any other integration using the tracking link
