How to sync delivery status to Shopify Order?

Synctrack allows you to sync shipping status updates directly to your Shopify Order page. This helps keep your order timeline aligned with the shipment journey and enables other apps (such as email marketing or support tools) to take action based on order status.**** Why this is useful:

  • Keeps the Shopify order history accurate and up to date
  • Reduces manual updates
  • Enables better integration with tools like Klaviyo, Gorgias, and more

What this feature does

  • Pushes real-time shipping events (e.g. In Transit, Delivered) to your Shopify order timeline.
  • Allows other apps that rely on order updates to work more effectively.
  • Helps merchants and staff track delivery status in one central place.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings in app Synctrack Order Tracking.
  2. Go to Sync status to Shopify.
  3. Toggle the switch On to activate.

Once turned on, all future shipping events will be automatically pushed to the relevant order in your Shopify Admin.

What you’ll see in Shopify

On the Shopify Order page, delivery events will appear in the timeline section, similar to your other order updates.

These updates may include:

  • In transit
  • Out for delivery
  • Delivered

📝 Notes

  • Shopify supports a limited set of delivery statuses (e.g., In Transit, Delivered, Out for Delivery). Synctrack automatically maps carrier-specific events into these supported values.
  • Sub-statuses (e.g., Held at customs, Attempted delivery) are simplified so they can be used by other Shopify-connected apps and services.
